Their car is later found abandoned in a mall parking lot and a mysterious letter is sent to the family. Did the three women stage their disappearance or was something more sinister afoot?

Years earlier, Cox had been involved in a controversial Code Red" hazing incident while stationed at Guantanamo Bay. After a similar incident was dramatized in the film A Few Good Men (1992), Cox attempted to organize a lawsuit. Did Cox's actions lead to his death?

December 22, 1981. Rhonda Hinson attends an office Christmas party in Hickory, North Carolina. As the 19-year old is driving home sometime after midnight, she is killed by a bullet fired from a high-powered rifle. The seemingly impossible fatal shots travel through the car before striking Rhonda in the heart leading some to believe that the shot was deliberate. Was she murdered or the victim of a freak accident.

October 1, 2003. Naples, Florida. Felipe Santos, a Mexican national, disappears after he is taken into police custody after an minor traffic accident. Three month later, another Naples man, Terrance Williams also vanishes after being pulled over. Since both men were taken into custody by the same police officer Corporal Steve Calkins, questions have arisen about their disappearances. Were the police officer involved or was it just an unfortunate coincidence?
