The voice of Mr. Snugglesworth was originally very high-pitched and loud, but then was change to the low-key, relaxed voice in the final cut.
The film won "Best Voice Over" at the Seattle True Independent Film Festival.
The idea for the film came from a pairing. The idea for Mr. Snugglesworth came when director Jaime Ramirez saw an inflatable bunny one of his roommates had purchased and decided he wanted it in his next film. The idea for the story came when Ramirez became irritable one day when his friends pushed for him to hang out with them when he wasn't feeling up to it.
Mr. Snugglesworth was originally a blue bunny, but director Jaime Ramirez realized the bunny wouldn't work because it held a carrot to its mouth that wasn't detachable.
About 30 inflatable bunnies auditioned for the part of Mr. Snugglesworth, but they were way too over-sized (over 6 ft in height) for the role.
