one for the gorehounds

I attend to visit Weekend Of Horrors at Germany and let that place be the place to talk to German directors promoting their flicks. In 2005 I talked with Marc about his first feature Dungeon of Evil. The problem with that flick was the German language. Here we have the same problem. But there isn't that much spoken word in it and if it does you will understand 90% of it. The storyline is said in one sentence, it plays on a graveyard with living dead. You guessed it, you don't watch it for the storyline and you even don't watch it for the acting. But you just watch it for the gore and let me say that there is a lot of it in it. It clocks in at 90 minutes and that's maybe a bit too long. Some scene's are just made to promote some German bands with their song played in full length into the movie. Naturally the movie had a bit of reputation due Timo Rose as Ben having a small part in it (as promotion I guess). If you are a gorehound then this is surely one for you, it is really a splatter fest with some good effects. Another reason to buy the DVD is for the 5 shorts that are included as an extra. Here you see if that Marc can make a good story and flick like in Dark Awakening and Spider. Even funnier to see a remake of Spider done by Timo.
