Summons in FF7 Rebirth vary in strength and coolness, with iconic Eikons like Titan, Ifrit, Bahamut, Shiva, and Odin featured. The enigma that was Pol Pot still remains to this day, with parts of his true story being relatively unknown even Cambodians, in a sense of mystery that was actually cultivated by him during his regime. One of the lesser known facts, which Pot himself kept hidden, was that he grew up in the royal court, as his older brother was a low-level official there, with Chea Samy, one of the greatest artists of Cambodia's ritualistic dance tradition, functioning as his foster mother, and also the one who introduced him to the concept of the particular type of dancing.

Plot: In 2005, a teenager, Doris (Nico Parker), helps her mother (Laura Linney) care for her dying brother at the same hospice where Terri Schiavo is being treated. With the hospital at the centre of neverending right-to-life protests, Doris sparks an unlikely friendship with one of the protestors (Woody Harrelson).
Review: Suncoast was a late Sundance surprise for me. I wasn’t expecting much from the film, and I entertained the idea of waiting for it to hit Hulu (it has a Feb 9 release date). Still, I found myself unexpectedly charmed by this Searchlight release, which is the kind of crowdpleaser the festival audience loves, with the theatre I saw this in packed with sobbing attendees by the time the credits rolled.
Suncoast was a refreshing change of pace from some of the heavier fare I’ve been watching here, with it refreshingly optimistic and upbeat, even if it deals with grim subject matter.

Playwright James Graham has teamed up with Michael Sheen for three part BBC drama, The Way. Here’s the trailer.
Michael Sheen has spent a good portion of his career playing real-life figures, perhaps most notably David Frost in Ron Howard’s film version of Peter Morgan’s Frost/Nixon.
He has also played journalist Robbie Ross in Wilde, writer Jeremy Dyson in The League Of Gentlemen’s Apocalypse, Chris Tarrant in Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? scandal drama Quiz and he played a heightened version of himself opposite David Tennant in Staged. He’s about to take on the role of Aneurin “Nye” Bevan in Tim Price’s play Nye at the National Theatre. Likewise, James Graham often writes political plays based around recent events.
The two have now teamed up for BBC drama The Way, which although it takes its inspiration from real events, follows fictional characters.

Starring Sheen, who is making his directorial debut, Luke Evans (The Hobbit), Callum Scott Howells (It’s a Sin) and a wealth of talented Welsh actors, The Way tells the story of an ordinary family caught up in an extraordinary chain of events that ripple out from their home town. Rod Holcomb, an Emmy-winning TV director of “ER,” “Lost” and other series, died Wednesday in Los Angeles. He was 80.
Holcomb was best known for directing both the pilot and the series finale of “ER,” winning an Emmy for that farewell episode in 2009. He was nominated four four Primetime Emmys over his career, and also nominated for three DGA awards — winning one in 1995 for the “ER” pilot. Holcomb directed 21 pilots over his career, with the remarkable track record of 15 going to series.
“Every good director will elevate the material on the page. His job is to elevate it visually, to give it the weight of an art form,” Holcomb told Variety in 2011. “In a way, it’s easier to determine with a show that you know very well as a viewer, and if you know the contours and the voice of the show, then you can more easily answer some key questions.

Luke Macfarlane is revealing his holiday movie earnings, and he’s not ho-ho-hoing all the way to the bank.
“You were in [Single All the Way on Netflix], was the paycheck bigger [than Hallmark]?” Daniel Tosh asked Macfarlane, 43, during a recent episode of his Tosh Show podcast.
Macfarlane replied, “Smaller.”
Macfarlane has been a Hallmark staple since 2015. Earlier this year, Macfarlane appeared in Notes of Autumn and Catch Me If You Claus. He is now seen in Netflix’s Single All the Way.
“So, I’ve had, like, sort of overall deals with [Hallmark where] I’m gonna commit to five Christmas movies or five movies, but I can’t work for any other networks and they can’t be holiday-related movies,” Macfarlane explained, noting he could sign onto Single All the Way at the time because that was “outside of my deal.”
Asked if Hallmark pays well, Macfarlane nodded and said that his “rate goes up” for successive projects.

Updated: After opening early in 37 international box office markets last weekend, Warner Bros/Village Roadshow/Heyday Films’ Wonka expanded its release this session to the rest of the world (save Korea which goes in late January). The results are sweet.
In a total 77 overseas markets, the Paul King-directed, Timothée Chalamet-starrer added another $53.6M during the sophomore session. That takes the offshore cume to $112.4M, and, with domestic, lifts global to $151.4M.
Among new openers, France led play with $5.1M at a clear No. 1 and beating all comps. In Australia, $4M was the 2nd biggest WB opening weekend of 2023 as well as the 2nd biggest family opening weekend of the year. Italy’s $3.4M start was also a clear No. 1 and tracking above comps.
The movie ranked No. 1 in 60 of its 77 markets, with a fantastic -30% hold in the 37 that opened last session (-27% excluding China).

Exclusive: I sit down for breakfast with Charlie Sheen not exactly knowing what to expect. His bookend episodes of Bookie that reunited him with Two And a Half Men‘s Chuck Lorre remind of what was lost after the actor’s inexplicable, substance-fueled “Tiger Blood” meltdown led to an abrupt parting of the ways and separating him from one of sitcom TV’s highest-ever salaries at a reported $1.8 million an episode. It has been a dozen years since then, and I come in harboring my own feelings. Basically, Two And a Half Men (the Charlie Harper Years) have been my reliable go-to at the end of most long days in the trenches. I can practically recite the dialogue along with Sheen, Jon Cryer, Angus T. Jones, as well as Holland Taylor (their mom), Melanie Lynskey (Charlie’s stalker), Marin Hinkle (Alan Harper’s ex), and the late Conchata Ferrell, who played the housekeeper Berta.

The further we get from the Nineties, the more it looks like a series of musical golden ages all stacked atop one another, a kaleidoscopic moment when grimy hip-hop and future-shock R&b hit artistic and commercial peaks at the same time as a procession of fuzz-pedal-toting rock bands found themselves at the center of pop culture.
It was the best-ever era for one-hit wonders, even as major labels — suddenly uncertain in era when Nirvana or Wu-Tang Clan could beat out manicured product — also threw money at career artists from Fiona Apple to Outkast.

In 2015, producer Kevin J. Walsh was clearing out a last-minute parking lot location for Manchester by the Sea’s most memorable scene, and just seven years later, he found himself on one of several battlefields that would define Ridley Scott’s latest historical epic, Napoleon.
Financed by Apple Original Films and distributed by Sony, the Joaquin Phoenix-led film just outperformed expectations with $32.7 million over the five-day Thanksgiving window, and Walsh believes that Napoleon’s production and distribution arrangement is the ideal way forward for streamers who want to make big-budget plays. With the possible exception of Netflix, the remaining streamers haven’t been able to justify the expense of streaming-exclusive blockbusters, but Napoleon has now established that streaming services and traditional studios can work together in mutually beneficial ways.

In “Dashing Through the Snow,” Lil Rel Howery has the off-the-cuff funk energy of a hustler who’s so quick that you believe his spiel before you’ve had the chance to outthink it. The whole issue of believing is key to the movie, since Howery plays Santa Claus — or, perhaps, a petty criminal who’s pretending to be Santa Claus. The character calls himself Nick, and he’s dressed as a variation on the old-school Victorian Santa: half-frame glasses, a coat festooned with gold buttons and paramilitary shoulder flaps, a vest of gold finery, along with a few token bits of street cool.
Howery’s line readings sound improvised, and that’s a good thing. He’s the ebullient, fast-talking spark plug of a formula comedy with a cheap engine, though one that putters along harmlessly enough. Not so long ago, there were maybe three or four Christmas movies per holiday season.

Tammy, a 2014 comedy movie starring Melissa McCarthy and directed by Ben Falcone, was primarily filmed in Wilmington, North Carolina, known for its popularity among film and TV productions. Other locations utilized for filming in North Carolina included Shallotte for a fast-food restaurant scene and Boiling Spring Lakes for a waterfront scene. Although the characters in the film visit Louisville, Kentucky, and Niagara Falls, New York, the actual filming took place in Wilmington and New York to capture the iconic scenes at Niagara Falls.
Tammy tells the story of a woman named Tammy and her grandmother who go on a road trip across the United States as they both undergo personal struggles, but the majority of the film was shot in one state. Before Justin Bieber's "Journals," there was Ariana Grande's "Yours Truly."
It was Aug. 30, 2013, and Grande - who rose to fame on Nickelodeon's "Victorious" and "Sam & Cat" - suddenly emerged as a musical superstar with her debut album. Thanks to her dreamy voice and impressive range, the budding phenom, who was then 20 years old, proved she was so much more than just a teen star.
The album was a testament of how '90s R&b, hip-hop, pop, and doo-wop can complement one another. Paired with production by Babyface, The Rascals (Leon Thomas III and Khris Riddick-Tynes), Antonio Dixon, Harmony Samuels, Tommy Brown (aka TBHits), as well as cowriting credits from the aforementioned and Victoria Monét, Sevyn Streeter, Jordin Sparks, and Priscilla Renea (now Muni Long), "Yours Truly" was an instant victory. Late Mac Miller recently got tribute from his ex-girlfriend Ariana Grande after his death as she released The Way. There are a lot of celebrities who respect the previous relationships they had with some people. It shows their maturity and the same time how grounded they felt with some person.
Sometimes their previous relationship may become toxic while other times they try to keep a balanced relationship maybe because of friendship as well as for the sake of the children.
If we go according to it then there are a lot of Hollywood celebrities who are very well and good at this level of communication.
The same recently happened with Ariana Grande as she celebrated her 10th anniversary. This 10th Anniversary is related to her debut album called Yours Truly.
And due to the same reason, the 30-year-old singer had a live London version of her song called The Way.

Throughout the video for the new version of their hit collab performed “Live from London,” a simple moving image of the Yours Truly (Tenth Anniversary Edition) album cover appears while different elements of the clip fade out, but never the words “Feat. Mac Miller.” At the end, Grande, 30, honours Miller one last time as everything fades out to a black screen except for Miller’s name which glows in white.

Prosecutors in the “Rust” shooting case accuse Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, the film’s armorer, of handing off a bag of cocaine to another person in an attempt to conceal it from authorities, after Alec Baldwin shot a live bullet that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, according to a Thursday court filing viewed by the Santa Fe New Mexican.
The new filing specifies cocaine as the drug that Gutierrez-Reed attempted to dispose of, following last week’s charge of evidence tampering brought by prosecutors in the ongoing case. Gutierrez-Reed is also facing an involuntary manslaughter charge, the same accusation initially made against Baldwin, though his charges have been dropped.
Prosecutors Kari Morrissey and Jason Lewis said a confidential witness will testify that Gutierrez-Reed passed the cocaine off to someone else after being interviewed by the police the night of the shooting.

Cher is opening up about her relationship with Tina Turner. After Tina’s death on Wednesday at age 83, Cher called into MSNBC’s “The Beat With Ari Melber” to discuss visiting her late pal amid her illness.
“I started going to visit her because I thought, ‘I need to put this time into our friendship, so she knows we haven’t forgotten her,'” Cher said. “So we all took turns going and spending time with her and it made her happy.”
Though Tina’s cause of death has yet to be revealed, Cher noted that Tina “had her dialysis machine in her house.” Dialysis is used on people who have kidney failure or end-stage renal disease. Tina had a kidney transplant from her husband, Erwin Bach, in 2017.
“She fought this sickness for such a long time and she was so strong as you think she would be, but I know towards the end,...

There’s food porn, which shows like Chef’s Table and Top Chef, not to mention last year’s horror hit movie The Menu, have turned into widely popular entertainment. And then there’s art house food porn, a subgenre that possibly dates back to Marco Ferreri’s 1973 satire La Grande Bouffe, and whose other examples include Babette’s Feast, The Cook, The Thief, His Wife & Her Lover, Tampopo, Chocolat and Like Water for Chocolate. The latter films tend to be made in a language other than English, and they’re less about chefs competing for Michelin stars, or glowing reviews from Pete Wells, than about food as a way of life.
Where else but France, then, as the setting for the latest, and certainly one of the most appetizing, art house food porn flicks to come along in a while? Tràn Anh Hùng’s The Pot-au-Feu (La Passion du Dodin-Bouffant) is...

David Fincher’s The Game is a fascinating thriller, and its all-star cast makes the movie one of the most memorable and powerful entries in the director’s filmography. Released in 1997, The Game chronicles the complex relationship between two wealthy brothers who find themselves caught up in a game of secrets and deception. The Game is among David Fincher's most rewatchable movies because it features plenty of twists and turns that keep the audience on the edge of their seats and withhold the truth right until the very end of the story, warranting multiple viewings to really see how it all comes together.
David Fincher's best movies are known for their celebrity casts and powerful performances, several of which have received Academy Award nominations over the years. From Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield in The Social Network to Rosamund Pike in Gone Girl, the director clearly knows how to draw...

Bullock won the Academy Award for Best Actress and the film itself was nominated for Best Picture. “The Grants” was co-written with Mike Hermosa and features backing vocals from singers Melodye Perry, Pattie Howard, and Shikena Jones, who all appeared in the 2013 music documentary 20 Feet from Stardom.
Listen to Lana Del Rey’s new song “The Grants” below.

Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart officially called it quits in 2020, and it sounds like the breakup was difficult for both actors. In a March 8 interview on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, Sprouse detailed some of the more challenging aspects of his romance with his "Riverdale" costar.
"I think if I had loved myself a little more, I probably would have left [my relationship with Lili] a little earlier," Sprouse said. "I just felt like I had to take care of a lot of people around me, which was not good for me. I probably should have exercised a bit more selfishness in that situation."
He also shared that it was difficult to continue working on their show after their relationship ended. "The work thing got difficult because it was hard to suspend all the way we felt about each other and it didn't afford us the luxury of distance to really overcome that," Sprouse said.

Manchester Orchestra are back with “The Way,” another song from their upcoming album, The Valley of Vision. Listen to the single below.
“I think I’m losing my mind,” lead singer Andy Hull admits in “The Way.” Like the rest of the album, the song strays from Manchester Orchestra’s tried-and-true heavy guitar rock in favor of piano, but Hull’s lyricism remains as dark as ever. “Trying to watch my obstacles/ See how fully I’ve been broke/ Let me start again,” he sings. Listen to the track below.
The Valley of Vision begins streaming this Friday, March 10th, while physical copies of the album go up for sale on April 7th. Also coming this week is the premiere of a virtual reality film of the same name that Manchester Orchestra made with director Isaac Deitz. Shot across the Rocky Mountains, Wyoming, and the band’s home state of Georgia,...

There are many daily Genshin Impact tasks for players to do, and while their rewards may seem like something trivial at first sight, in the long run, they add up. In fact, they can be just enough for a 5-star pull in a limited-time banner, for instance. Additionally, logging in every day and completing these tasks can speed up a character’s Friendship level and provide the players with resources to level up and ascend characters, talents, and weapons.
Developer HoYoverse’s RPG has notable down seasons in between updates in which there is not much to do, but even so, these moments should be used to run daily activities in Genshin Impact. Of course, players need to do these while also dealing with occasional events, weekly activities, and main and side quests. The other ones, however, can be spaced throughout the week and more, which can open up extra time for daily tasks.

Warning! This article contains spoilers for The Mandalorian season 3, episode 1.
The Mandalorian season 3’s next episodes trailer reveals a lot more about this season’s story than the premiere itself. A relatively self-contained return to The Mandalorian’s world, “The Apostate” served to reintroduce characters and plotlines that are sure to be important for Mando (Pedro Pascal)’s upcoming journey. Still, other than Mando’s conversations with the Armorer (Emily Swallow), High Magistrate Greef Karga (Carl Weathers), and Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff), The Mandalorian season 3’s premiere preferred not to jump right into the most awaited moments.
Now, Disney+ has released a “coming next” The Mandalorian season 3 trailer, which features a lot of action and reveals some big events that are yet to happen.
