Celebrated singer Duke Vincent (Pat Harrington Jr.) is a guest star on Dave (Joby Baker) and Larry's (Ronnie Schell) radio program. The star is named after "Good Morning, World" writer E. Duke Vincent. The duo goes to Vincent's home to discuss a TV program but they play poker with Vincent and his entourage, including familiar character actors Herb Faye (Jake) and Johnny Silver (John). Dave becomes indebted to Larry for $75 and Jake for $235. Now Dave must face his wife Linda (Julie Parrish) about taking the money out of their savings. Dave returns the next night to discuss the show and the debt. This episode is written by James L. Brooks who went on to be an acclaimed Oscar-winning writer/producer. Here the plot doesn't offer a great deal and is light on comedy.
