Watch Until After The Credits!
jaydenhendrie30 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This episode showed Borat's lockdown experience with the two Americans in the second movie. I wasn't enjoying it as much as the movies until after the credits. It shows what happened at the Trump rally when the Trump supporters realised it was Sacha Baron Cohen.

Sacha Baren Cohen has become the very thing he is mocking
PushtheagendasPLEASE20 January 2022
Mind you the two men he is living with are shooting off a irrational amount of inconclusive rants. But, I feel that Sacha Baron Cohen has gone just as far as these guys, only in the opposing direction by just mocking them.

It used to be really funny when he would mock politicians and people in power on the Ali G show and such. Now, he is clearly targeting a specific archetype of people. We get it. They are not his type or Hollywood, or the media.

I think it would have been funnier if he had poked fun at the political powers on both sides. I find it amateur that he is going after 2 men that were kind enough to invite him into their house during a pandemic.

I used to love his Cohen's content. He used to just be unbiased. No sides taken. Just poking fun at the ridiculousness of politics. Now, he just mocking one side of the spectrum. Which now, is definitely needed on both sides.

Sure, these guys are on what is known as the "far-right". But, they were polite and kind to him entire visit and to take an immigrant in to their home as a guest and treated him with respect and dignity.

I really lose respect for these guys that lose their ways and start disrespecting the little people and mock them. Just because their views dont align with your own. Yes, they are a little "off" with some of their conspiracies. But, at the end of the day...even people with opposing views put you where you are.

30 minutes of comedy . It isn't as bad as people claim it is

This was hilarious. If you like Borat then you know what to expect. People are making it seem like its absolute trash, it really isn't, it's got a few good laughs.

Funny, but pushing propaganda
maddsandbarry11 September 2021
It's unfortunate. I've always enjoyed Sasha's work. This series had it moments between the leftist beliefs and now, presently, false facts. Disappointing. He could have had so much good material but instead it was politicized. Real shame.

Negative Reviews Are From Q Supporters

Wow! What a great little movie put together showing Borat's five night stay with two mentally ill human beings. This gives more insight to the lock in and how they got to the Sheep Rally in Washington.

This has a low rating because the movie offended a lot of Trump and Qanoners who were born without a sense of humor.

Horrific

Cohen, I grew up watching you as a young lad, staying up late to watch Ali G on channel 4, loved everything you have previously done, poking fun at the rich, famous and privileged, getting them to make fools of themselves. It appealed to everyone's mischievous side and the humour was quick and witty but this!? Punching down on the most down-trodden and oppressed, laughing at the legitimate concerns of ordinary marginalised people and offering no real evidence to disprove any of their beliefs. This program is a complete embarrassment to your previous work, wheeling out old beloved characters to try and galvanise support for a bunch of corrupt politicians and elites... What on earth have you become!?

Never will be as good as the original movie. All politics now.
frankblack-7996113 June 2021
Everything Cohen does anymore is political unfortunately. First Not at film was funny. Now all these Borat shows are aimed at discrediting conservative views in a way that takes the craziest of the right wing and makes it look as if its the norm. Both sides do this and its why no progress will ever be made to bring the country together. Wasted talent imo on Cohen's part. He about got the crap kicked out if him at the Trump rally for this attitude. The other reviewer is correct. Watch til after the credits of the first episode.

Plague rat snowflakes

The series is funny but more importantly it's really getting all the magat cultists riled up who think evidence based medicine is a liberal conspiracy so that's always nice.

not funny

Not funny. Lacking in anything original, pretty unpleasant and weak. Sad to see that the spark of originality has now been lost.

The educational part is so disappointing.
smiledaydream23 June 2021
The educational part is so disappointing. How could someone miss such a great opportunity to give coherent and understandable arguments. The extended scenes beyond the movie were fun and set a high expectation for the rest of the show. Then they sat down to disprove different points and sure they do but not in a way anybody would want to listen to them. If you're already in agreement with the points being made you already understand them. If you did not understand the points being made, you would have to be paid to watch this. It just isn't interesting. It isn't grabbing. And it definitely is not going to convince anybody of anything. What a wasted opportunity. They keep leading up to an episode with Hillary Clinton and then when you get to that episode it is such a letdown compared to the expectation of an intellectual explaining her position. I easily could've written into that better humor to make the point that would've actually humanized the situation. I don't want to give any spoiler but the actual argument to be made about that conspiracy theory is so easy to make. Well that's the hint to the non-spoiler. It is so easy to make.

Could have been funny...
jonyglaser6 October 2021
Just to clarify, I'm not from the USA so I couldn't care less who the president of USA is.

This show could have been funny but it was bloated with anti trump and pro biden propaganda.

Sacha Baron Cohen should stick to what make him famous instead of pushing an agenda. Gets boring really quick, Just a shame.
