Sometimes simple and easy to understand stories give more thrill than a complex detective storyline. Mukesh Jasoos is one of them, powerful and natural acting adds to the effectiveness. More than a good timepass.

Story of a sweet man backed by suspense
avantip27 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This show is different than a usual spy show. This is a story of a failed lawyer who tries his stint at spying. Mukesh is sweet, humble and naive. His friendship with muktaram is precious. They both land up in a case which largely affect their personal relations. Unlike a regular spy thriller, it's not about the protagonist intelligently solving the case. It's largely accidental. It shows a good hearted person being lucky at times. The plot completely works in the favour of the character sketch. The nuanced relationships between the characters are something to watch out for.
Endearing and Entertaining

The best thing about Mukesh Jasoos is that through out its runtime it manages to seamlessly transition between being emotional, comic and serious aided by apt background music which kind of acts like a cue for the audience.
The ability to handle sensitive topics humanely is another positive.
The series is elevated by delightful performances of the Cast members. The character of Muktaram played by Paritosh Tripathi was the standout performance for me among all.
Overall definitely among one of the best series to come out and worth the time.

Excellent Performances, Crisp Writing, Crafty direction

Tough to hold attention in 10 -12 min espidoes but the writers and makers have done a great job. Certain sequences are directed really well and even the other technicalities like Camerawork,Edit and Production Design aee very well done. Background score also adds a lot to the drama. Each and every actor is well cast and does full justice to their parts.

Mukesh jassos is really fun to watch. The cast of the series have really done a wonderful acting. Whole series is Very well written and directed. The best thing was that how each and every characters were steadily established and were connected emotionally. Rahul Bagga as Mukesh Jassos has really surprised with his acting. And the humour of paritosh Tripathi is excellent throughout. The element of comedy in this detective series was the best part. All the episodes flowed effortlessly. Big congratulations to Sajal sir for writing this series. Must watch binge.
A must watch

Old world charm of Doordarshan brought alive :)

Mukesh Jasoos exudes the simplicity seen in old school Doordarshan serials. In the current times it is a very refreshing watch. Unique. Unlike the fast paced content clutter that we see all around. All the characters are excellently written and relatable to someone or the other you would know in the real world. The character of Muktaram (played by Paritosh) definitely deserves a special mention as it stands out among the entire ensemble.
Intresting Plot and Cast

A series full of twists & turns, suspense, comedy and drama. Very well written and executed, performed by some amazing set of artists who have tried their best in this series and have done justification to it. A li'l bit of lows at some parts may take you off, but definitely it will hold you up till last. The best part is the length of every episode. Easy to watch and easy to remember and connects everything. Overall it's a must watch series and can be recommended while having some leisure time.
Well-made detailed story that pulls you in

Great storytelling, with great acting - Mukesh, Muktaram and Suls are awesome although there is no false note with the others too. It felt like reading an old style detective series. Loved the format and the presentation! Watch it.
Get ready for roller coaster ride in classic DD style

If I were to pick this series, time travel and put it back in late 80s Doordarshan classics deck like Byomkesh, Nukkad, Waghle.... I bet you will not be able to distinguish. That is the genius of Heena & Team. At a time, when there is a blitzkreig of K-soaps, warring saas-bahus, mythology, naagins, Rohit Shetty's Gravity defying flying Cars, Sasta matrix stunts n all.... Here is a hidden gem, with completely completely different approach.
The simplicity of storyline, the genuineness of characters, the usage/pronunciation of words, the wonderful micro-10 minute format and realistic portrayal will infiltrate the whole flavor in your minds, which will further build-up, as the show progresses.
There will moments of laughter, cliffhangers and even times when you would sympathize with certain characters. Every character you would see, would be so relatable.(Be that Mukesh, Muktaram, Sulz or fascinatingly the director guy in boxers with that cool hairdo). I would not be surprised if a comic on this series comes out sometime, its very much a diamond comics material. (Sry again for the 80s/90s nostalgia)
For those who are yet watch: Good thing for you is you dont have to wait for full 24 hours after each episode, like we did. Take a showel and unearth this gem of a show.
Grab your popcorn bucket.

20 Eclairs with subtle quantity of aspirin our society needs.
pratiyaksh29 May 2021
Imagine you are in a feast (Read Netflix ++), but you are burning from inside because there is so much sadness everywhere. And then you come across this small counter with 20 eclairs. You eat one, and you feel amazing, and then you end up eating all 20. Short, sweet, warm, humour in just the right quantity. It is very tough to believe it materialised in a matter of months.
Subtle handling of sensitive topics was just out of this world. Unusual relationships, two men emotionally attached exploring the sexuality and not with a stigma - like humans.
From a story perspective, it hit all the right notes.
My best moment "Matlab option that?" What a brilliant performance by Muktaram and obviously everyone else.

Top notch drama, exceptional acting by Rahul Bagga & Paritosh Tripathi
yadavrashi-8648315 May 2021
In a world where you cannot save yourself from extreme Marketing campaigns from movies like Radhe and Collie No.1(which questions our sanity and impart us with a life long trauma), Mukesh Jasoos restores our belief in the Indian cinema/ web series industry.
Rahul Bagga's emotions that he portrays in the role, and his acting is a treat to eyes. Paritosh Tripathi goes multiple notches above Mohammed Zeeshan's(Murari) acting and at times comes at par with Rahul Bagga. Direction is crisp. Cinematography is perfect. Story telling is marvellous. Heena D'Souza(director) couldn't have done enough justice to the plot and direction.
Must watch. Please watch it to believe it.
