So in a podcast interview Joseph talked about feeling they needed to address the pandemic and so came up with episode on the fly. It's pretty good. Lots of great details as we've come to expect.
I liked the dynamic he captures, in his effort to do everything he can in an unknown situation while his flatmate sees holding onto his job as more important. No judgements, just presenting it as it unfolds.
I wish he'd be a bit nicer to his mum, although this is probably referential to the writers world.
Another good effort from JGL.

So good, maybe too soon?

Such an awesome episode. It brought back the fear and uncertainty everyone felt at the beginning of the epidemic. So real it was difficult to watch at times. It made me anxious and overwhelmed all over again. Every character's reactions to the situation were authentic. That's my favorite thing about this series: everything rings true.

Hope You Feel Good(Sep 17,2021):
Excellent writing in this episode and very well demonstrated the times we were and going thru.
Up to now that I've seen no one has come up with something so real like the happenings in this episode. JGL should get an Emmy for the writing and his acting... This show is exceptional.

Wow. I loved this episode. Fear and reality, lack of communication, a historical moment, uncertainty and hope are combined in this touching episode. The cast is stunning. I especially love Joe & Debra Winger. What a treat! Very well written and super good acting. Bravo! 10/10.
Uncomfortable and late to the party.

I honestly think is a little late to air. Comes across as 'just another series that made a covid episode' and it takes away from the quality of writing and production.
Also, it felt like 60% of the episode is just uncomfortable eating scenes in Dolby Audio.
