I imagined that the show would provide answers about the Man and how he got here.
I did not expect it would be a LSD fuelled hallucination.
It allows the writers some imagination and avoid a straightforward narrative.
The psychedelic aspects works. The Man collides with various people in his imaginations. He himself is just a boring accountant who got mixed up with Kostas.
As for Kostas, he was a long term mark of Luci who planned to rip him off.
DI Lachlan Rogers is not a crooked cop. He has been forced to work for Kostas. His wife has been abducted.
Things are nicely set for the finale. I guess one or two characters will have a redemption.
