iD3 cost less than most 30 second TV spots, but Upset were so keen to prove the future of interactive storytelling that they pulled out every stop to make it happen.
Neil Davidge of Massive Attack composed the theme music specially for iD3 which can be heard during the pre-credit sequence where Detective Strickland is talking and also during the opening credit sequence.
Mark Horwood of cult music group The Mummers composed most of the iD3 music. Sadly he passed away shortly after putting the finishing touches on his score for iD3.
Tamer Hassan's character 'Tommaso' was named after Hollywood film producer Tommaso Fiacchino who was working with iD3 director Lucas Howe at the time on a film project that was stuck in development hell.
