Filmed and first transmitted on BBC 2 to introduce Computer Aided Design in 1987, this show follows hardware digitization and software algorithms introduced in science fiction movies to create 'more than realism'. The documentary, narrated by Anna Ford, introduces Japanese research as well as pioneers at ILM and Pixar. Steve Jobs, at the company's first birthday party, talks about his vision for 'Disney style 'Fantasia quality' animation from computers'. The film went on to win an award at the New York International Film Festival.
