The same woman that Uncle Charley inadvertently dances with when he takes Katie to the restaurant, is also visible in the restaurant scenes when Katie is there with Steve and later with Ernie - and she's in the same dress.
The title comes from the 1947 song "Buttons and Bows" by Jay Livingston and the lyrics by Ray Evans. The song was sung by Bob Hope and Jane Russell in the movie The Paleface (1948) and won the Academy Award for Best Original Song.
