A very strong episode.
This episode's strongest aspect are its queens. Queens like Rajah, Jiggly and Yara are consistently entertaining, bringing back the fun lively energy of past seasons like AS2.
With the premiere out of the way, the season's rapid pace relaxes a little, which is a blessing considering the first episode's breakneck pace. This episode gives us a much needed glimpse into the queens' personalities and relationships, as most of this was missing in the premiere. However, not every queen is getting screen time. I almost forgot that Pandora, Scarlett and Silky were still in the competition due to their almost complete absence this episode.
The Blue Ball presented strong runways with no queen doing particularly bad (which is what we love to see on an All Stars season). The judging isn't as questionable as the previous episode so everything feels a lot more fair this time around.
And that lip sync... wow.
Overall, a very strong episode which effectively invests audiences' in the new cast. Much stronger than the premiere, so I can see why Paramount+ decided to release the two episodes at the same time.
