When Booth and Brennan approach the dead body and see the cats eating the flesh of the corpse, Brennan says that the cats are feral. The animal control officers then begin picking up the cats by hand and placing them in carriers. Feral cats cannot be approached by humans because they are not socialized and the cats in this case would have fled as soon as a human approached them. They also don't really meow except if they have been feed repeatedly by a person & feel comfortable.
In the closing scene, Booth and Brennan repair a faucet supply line using PVC pipe which no US plumbing code allows for in use in potable, (drinkable), water supply lines.
The car that features in this episode is referred to as "the Bond car", however the Bond car is an Aston Martin DBS and the car that features in this episode is an Aston Martin DB9. No DB9 ever featured in any Bond movie.
The victim is said to have been drilled by a 70 gauge bit. 70 gauge is the thickness of plastic wrap, needless to say there is no drill bit that diameter.
In the closing scene, B&B are repairing a PVC joint. A pvc connection should ALWAYS be twisted just a bit, to ensure that the glue seals all the way around the joint.
The trunk / boot is made from composite material that is very brittle, using a crow bar to jemmy the door open would only break a chunk of it off and not force it open as in the show.
Booth states that his apartment has problems because it is in "Washington". Anyone locally would say that the problem was because it was in "DC".
When Bones and Booth are examining the body on the parking garage roof, the animal control truck is marked "Montgomery County" which is in Maryland although it's implied the garage is at the airport (Dulles) which is in Fairfax County, Virginia.
(at around 37 mins) Booth says to Rutledge that "if you want to know what's in the case you call in the Calvary". The actual phrase is "Call in the Cavalry". Cavalry are the horse mounted soldiers that were the highest order of the ground based military. In popular vernacular, calling in the cavalry refers to calling in reinforcements, which would often times be the horse mounted cavalry due to their being able to travel much faster than foot soldiers. Calvary (or Golgotha) is the English name of the hill where they crucified Jesus Christ.
Several characters refer to CIA operatives as agents. The correct term is officers.
In the closing scene, water sprays Bones and she says her new Rolex watch is ruined. All Rolex watches are waterproof, most being water resistant to a depth of 300 meters. While hot water can soften some of the sealing gaskets, making them leak, a spritz of hot water is not enough to ruin it.
