Join Adam and Luis as they talk about the art of the Television "Crossover". The classic crossover started itself off as a good way to make the best of what you've got - so if you have two shows on your roster, it's a no-brainer to have the shows and characters cross over every once in a while, especially if one of the shows is less popular than its sibling.

Jumping the shark is an idiom used to describe the moment of a misguided attempt at generating new publicity for something once, but no longer, widely popular; the attempt serves instead to highlight the irrelevance of what it intends to promote. This is especially applicable to television series or other entertainment outlets. The phrase derives from a 1977 episode of the sitcom Happy Days. What was your favorite jumping the shark episode of TV? Was it when Aliens showed up in "Chips"? What about when Dexter Morgan's sister fell in love with him in "Dexter"? We've all seen cringe worthy moments like these in our favorite TV Shows. What were yours?

A "Very special episode" is a term originally used in American television promos to refer to an episode of a sitcom or drama series which deals with a difficult or controversial social issue. The usage of the term peaked in the 1980s. Welcome to 2021. Social unrest, racial inequality, a pandemic that is hopefully in its final f*****g act, just to name a few of today's political and social economic climate. The best Television show runners in history, Norman Lear, Shawndra Rhymes, John Wells, just to name a few would never shy away from talking about such matters. We are here to honor an embody that. We are facing a challenging time again as the nation sits and waits for the verdict of Derrick Chauvin. As people of color, Adam and I wanted to offer our perspectives and supports to our brothers and sisters alike, and allies. Our entire show is dedicated to the impact television has had on our history. We will not shy away from discussing, even briefly, what's happening in the world around us.

Happy Pride everyone!!!. Slowly but surely, TV shows are doing a better job at depicting the full scope of the varied LGBTQ+ experience. Things started out small, with series like Will and Grace and Glee revealing slices of queer identity. Now sitcoms, dramas, and everything in between have expanded that showcase, dedicating themselves to getting representation right. But we didn't get there overnight, and there's still more work to be done. However, these 19 TV shows, below, did more than just move the dial forward when it comes to LGBTQ+ representation on screen. They broke down the doors, and we should celebrate that. In honor of Pride Month, let's take a look back. Because really, that's the only way to move forward.
