This show is cute
babymanperson11 March 2023
This show is about a squirrel who is an energetic overachiever that goes to elementary school. Her name is Kiff. Her best friend is Berry. He is the nerotic one who is a bit shy. All the characters in the show are anthropomorphic animals. The only character that isn't an animal is the witch. Her being the token human in a world full of animals is kinda funny. The art style is reminiscent of another show on Disney Channel called Big City Greens. The jokes are great. There is lots of slapstick and wacky dialogue. If you enjoy SpongeBob SquarePants you will probably enjoy this show. So far Disney Channel has only relased the first couple of episodes. The waterslide one is the best in my opinion.

A cute slapstick show from Disney
I certainly enjoy media featuring anthropomorphic animals. I like various animals, and squirrels are one of them. I even have a Mr. Nutz plush.

As of now, I only saw the first two episodes of the show. However, I became quite amazed by it that I'm writing this review. The show centers on the title character Kiff, a highly enthusiastic squirrel whose antics sometimes get anyone around her take a hit. When I saw the ads, I thought she was feisty. But when I watch the episodes, it appears she is just enthusiastic. Her best buddy is a laidback but friendly bunny named Barry.

Kiff is voiced by Kimiko Glenn who first made a name in that Nickelodeon Baby Shark series which I'm so not a fan of. If I have anything to say about her, it's this. I like Kimiko much more as Kiff than as Baby Shark.

Good show, overhated yo
TairitSued24 July 2023
Kiff is a pretty fun and silly show that kind of reminds me of a mix of TAWOG and Phineas and Ferb. A lot of people are kind of mad at this show considering the while Owl House and Amphibia thing, and while I love both of these shows dearly, that isn't a reason to hate om this show.

Kiff gets into wacky adventures with Barry in every episode and it's really cute. Throws in some moments and jokes that both the kids and the grown ups can understand and laugh at, and I really just wish people took the time to look into this show.

Although there are a lot of characters in this show that need a little more development and screen time, would love to know about them.

Misjudged and Adorable
nobiean11 March 2023
I had misjudged this show before it aired, constantly bashing on it.

After watching the first few segments I have to admit I am in love, Kiff is a very colorful show with funny stories and over the top characters (in a good way).

The music in the show is outstanding, animation is pretty good, the voices are well done, and Kiff is just so fun!

The theme song is a bit on the nose, but I do love the instrumentals Brad brings to the table.

Kiff is loveable, reminds you of cartoons from the late 2000s. It is a must watch if you want some fun day to day adventures. Matches up perfect with the adventures of The Ghost and Molly McGee, Big City Greens, and Bluey.

Made me laugh
gamingsnakes13 April 2023
I love this show already and I hope others do too. It's really cute and well done. If it made an adult laugh and smiled, I'm sure it's gonna do wonderful for the kids. I really enjoy it and I hope there is gonna be more seasons to come. I can't wait to see what's next for Kiff and her best friend Barry, and the adventures they're going to endeavor. I appreciate the well thought out references, designs and set. I love the storyline so far and it's made me smile quite a bit. I am sure everyone appreciates a good show for their kids and I believe it is. This is already an amazing show from disney. :)

Very good show
parfittlee2 May 2023
Now this show reminds me of those garbage gross out Disney shows from the mid 2010s, but at least Kiff stands out, with a bit more variety in the humor. There are a ton of interesting characters, but my favorites have to be Barry and Trevor. I realised despite positive reception, the show is somewhat obscure and no one is really talking about it. But Kiff's an awesome show that focuses on humor and simplicity. I would call this a Disney version of Spongebob, from the simple yet funny humor, to the diverse cast of characters, and even Tom Kenny, who voices Spongebob, also voices some characters in this show. If the creators are reading this, they have made a great show that has a lot of originality!

The show is good.
lichce-8948516 March 2023
I liked it. Even though I watched it a little bit of Pool Party and it was pretty awesome.

The animation is great, the writing is good and the relationship between Kiff and Barry is pretty great. Even though Roy did bully them in the middle of the episode, it was pretty awesome in the ending scene.

So, the show however is awesome and funny but entertaining at the same time as the rest.

This is the best Disney Channel show than The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder and Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur!

Two shows aren't interesting but for this show, it is pretty good for me. So far, I liked it. 😏

Kiff Kiff Kiff Kiff!!!!
FluffyBlueyGreenie31 March 2023
Kiff is a great show! Kiff is a series that is great for all ages. Kiff is the one that loves adventure, being silly, and having fun (I can relate) and Barry is more laidback, still joins Kiff on all her adventures, and is cautious. I can't wait to see more from this show when the new episodes release! This show feels like "The Cuphead Show!" with slapstick comedy, great characters that are relatable, and more! I can't wait for more episodes and seasons from this show! You need to watch this show!, or The Cuphead Show! If you like comedy, slapstick humor, great characters, and too have fun!

You can now watch Kiff on Disney Channel, Youtube, or Disney Plus!

The best show ever, buddy stories
cvvrrkcg13 April 2023
Kiff is the example of good shows like Molly McGee, Moon Girl, Bluey, and other shows that exist right now. This show needs to be rated at least more than Molly McGee's IMDb rating. This show is already good and pretty much funny and stupid scenes. Frendiversary episode was funny and well storyboarded. This show is a blessing, I love to binge watch. I put this in my Top 3 shows. It wins number one. Following Molly McGee, and Bluey. Kiff is a really cute squirrel, I will describe her. Orange fur, one cut ear, and as all female characters, EYELASHES. Kiff reminds me of good shows. This show is the meaning of slay.

Kiff is one of the best new animated shows of the year
craigmills-0216729 August 2023
Kiff, is a humongous hit, the little show that could is now a huge phenomenon, millions have started watching the show. But this was also a career breakthrough for Kimiko Glenn, who after almost a decade in the biz in film, tv, animation, and Broadway in supporting roles. This was the role that truly turned her into a superstar as the title character Kiff Chatterley, which is a the leading role. And it also opened the door for South African creators to make their own shows in the states. The show's blend of comedy, music and animation turned the show into a ratings success and it really hit the jackpot. Season 2 is going to get bigger with more songs by some of the best and brightest songwriters in the country and brought in more people to be a part of this. This is a huge hit.

It's ok.
botlok2 August 2023
So I watched about 4 episodes, and, it was OK. There were some funny moments and it had some decent characters.

However the main problem with the show is that it gets really boring at times. I'm giving it a 5/10 not because of what it does do, but rather because of what it doesn't do. At times, it gets really slow and nothing of note really happens, as well as a lot of repetitive jokes. There's nothing in the show that's that bad, but nothing that's really that good either.

Modern Disney Channel kind of fell off. The only shows I like on there now is Big City Greens (go watch it, great show!) and DuckTales. Moon Girl is OK, Molly McGee is also boring, and I'll admit I don't like The Owl House as much as a lot of people do.

A Really Good show in the modern age
sadboizyt24 December 2023
I was on Disney+ after watching Phineas And Ferb and I was looking for a show to binge watch and I saw this show called Kiff.

As an avid fan of Disney Channel I was slightly skeptical about watching Kiff after hearing online that the show was not very good. After a while of consideration I ultimately decided to give It a shot and I'm glad that I did! The writing on this show is top-notch and the intro was catchy.

As soon as the episode started I was hooked almost instantly the storyline is good and dare I say it better than The Owl House. All of the episodes have different plots and are executed really well.

What separates kiff and most modern kids cartoons is that the animation is actually good and doesn't look like Top Cat Begins.

Honestly you should give Kiff a try as you might really love the show and you might look at other shows that Disney+ / Disney Channel might have in store for you.

COME ON, NOW. KIFF!! SAY IT AGAIN. KIFF!!!
BaxtonWinter22 October 2023
I absolutely adore this show! I have a deep appreciation for the songs, the episode concepts (which often contain valuable educational lessons), and its relatability to my childhood. The facial expressions of the characters are incredibly meme-worthy, and I have a profound love for each of them. It's undeniably hilarious! I'm eagerly anticipating Season 4. I cannot stress enough how much I love this show! You should definitely watch it. Shall we delve deeper into it? In every episode, Kiff presents an original song that reflects the events taking place. The characters, portrayed as animals in a creatively amusing manner, are accompanied by some intriguing "Humans" such as a Witch and a centaur (a human-horse hybrid). The color palette is simply stunning. Please give Kiff a chance and watch it.

Could very well be Disney's answer to SpongeBob SquarePants.
Darwinskid17 August 2023
Since 1999, many networks have tried to find their answer to Viacom's chipper sea sponge but they have all been unsuccessful. With their new series Kiff however, it seems like Disney may have finally cracked the code.

This is a pretty neat and sweet little animated sitcom with a diverse cast of likeable characters, good and creative humor, and offers some pretty good messages that speak universally so no one feels left out.

Hopefully, Disney realizes they have something gold on their hands and doesn't drop the ball anytime soon, this could be a very big win for the company if they play their cards right.

Finally bringing back the foundations.
soulistic27 April 2024
Watched the first episode. Had 2 variety shows. It brought back memories of Tiny Toons and Animaniacs and a dash of Pickle and Peanut. Finally a cartoon that brings back humour and a little bit of adult connections/humour.

The main character and her friend is just hilarious. Their comedic timing is great and the animations and hilarity is wonderful. I'm so happy to come across a cartoon that I can watch even as an adult - that brings back memories of watching Tiny Toons.

There is too much cartoons and tv show with so much nonsense and protecting young minds from genuine hilarity.

I hope to see more cartoons like this brought back.

Another Amazing Show!
jaren-2799231 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Wow! This show is just as amazing as Amphibia! There are no disgusting things, no inappropriate jokes, no ugly characters, and no bad episodes so far. There are not a lot of TV shows that I really like. Sometimes they would make cartoons that are totally gross or inappropriate for children, like Billy Dilley's Super-Duper Subterranean Summer, Camp Lakebottom and The Buzz on Maggie. But now they're making great shows, like Gravity Falls, Wander Over Yonder, Amphibia and The Owl House.

My favorite character would be Kiff herself, because she's so funny and adorable! I just love it when she tries to help everyone in a town called "Table Town". Barry is pretty sweet and cute. He is the perfect best friend for Kiff. I also like Ghost Wolf, who was scary at first, but he turned out to be extremely nice and caring. And he makes very amazing art pieces in one episode.

I love this show. I hope we get more than two seasons. The first season is still airing, but it got renewed for a second season which will come out in 2024. Thank you Lucy Heavens and Nic Smal for creating this wonderful series! I hope Disney can make even more shows with cute anthropomorphic animals.

This Stupid Squirrel Drives Me Nuts! -.-
a34trgv116 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
The latest cartoon from the Mouse House's television division, Kiff seeks to be this exciting new cartoon with lots of laughs. Watching the 6 episodes on Disney+, however, I wasn't so much as smirking because this is yet another badly made cartoon from the same company that brought us Wander Over Yonder, Kim Possible and Phineas and Ferb. From the atrocious writing to the annoying characters, this cartoon about a squirrel is an insult to squirrels everywhere.

Created by Lucy Heavens and Nic Smal, this show's premise is one I said I wouldn't affiliate myself with after sitting through 3 shows with this premise! Stop me if you've heard this one before: a happy-go-lucky girl tries to make things better but ends up making things worst. This is now my least favorite premise for a cartoon because it's an open invitation to forced conflict with terrible pacing. And surprise surprise! That's EXACTLY what happens in every episode! Kiff has a small problem, she tries to fix it, makes it worse, and doesn't learn jack, diddly or squat! Rinse, lather, repeat! 11 minutes feels like my entire day is wasted because the plots are so formulaic and eye roll worthy predictable. I can tell you the synopsis of 1 episode and you'd already know how it ends. Kiff tries to avoid telling Barry not to drink too much oragne juice out of fear of hurting his feelings. If you guessed anything other than he's totally cool about it, you're wrong and it's not even funny. Speaking of which, good turkey flavored gravey is this show not funny! It's attempt at slapstick fall flat, the wordplay is groan worthy and the subversions just come off as lame. The show also doesn't do a good job in the world building department because Table Town (the founders of this city must've thought Chairville or Night Stand City weren't generic enough) is just a hodgepodge of mindless sheep with no unique personalities. The magical elements feel tacted on as well with magic not having a great significance in this town and the ones that practice magic aren't the least bit enthusiastic about it. There are also songs that drag the pacing to a crawl and aren't catchy in the slightest. I never claim I know better than professional writers, but this is exactly what NOT to do when writing.

With an unsalvageable premise like this also comes some unlikable characters. Starting with our leading lady, Mimi, I mean, Sabrina, I mean Polly, I mean Kiff is a happy-go-lucky girl that wants to make her dull life more exciting. Unfortunately, she's a stupid, annoying, and selfish brat that makes her problems worse because she couldn't spell "responsible" if the word was glued to her face! It's one thing to be a badly written main character, but to be the 4th irresponsible main female character I had to suffer through just makes me hate her so much more. Her bunny friend, Patrick, I mean, Ed, I mean, Pinky, I mean Barry is an idiot who stick with Kiff even though she clearly uses him for her own selfish gains. If you couldn't tell, Barry's just a stupid carbon copy of much funnier imbecile characters and nothing he says is funny or memorable. None of the other characters are much better as they're all defined by their one trope. Kiff has an idiot Dad and a blank slate Mom (shocker), her teacher, Helen, hates her job (because Heaven forbid we have a cartoon teacher like Ms. Frizzle or Quetzel ever again), Principal Secretary only cares about his ego, Trevor's a narcissist, Glarbin's a selfish mayor and Roy's a sleazy executive.

The voice acting for this show is the best part about it, and that's because voice director Sam Riegel is really good at his job. Kimiko Glenn sounds absolutely chipper and lively as Kiff. H. Michael Croner does a much better job voicing Barry than JP from Craig of the Creek, because Barry's more exaggerated and has better vocal range. James Monroe Iglehart and Lauren Ash were really good as Kiff's parents, making them both sound lively and caring. Tom Kenny, as always, shines in his vocal performance, this time playing a swave and egotistical Trevor. Nic Smal actually did a good job voicing Principal Secretary, making him sound full of authority yet also calm and reasonable. Deedee Magno Hall sounded wonderful as Miss Deer Teacher, even if it's basically Pearl from Steven Universe. Lucy Heavens also did a good job making Helen sound crusty and jaded. The characters may be awful, but at least the voice actors did a really good job.

Visually, the show looks pretty good. Disney collabed with Titmouse, Inc. On this and they did good work here. The animation is very bouncy and expensive with the characters showing a wide range of emotions. The characters also have smooth walk cycles and the textures on the fur looks really good. The backgrounds are also very well detailed with Table Town being fused with the mountains and the building looking really old. My only critique with the animation is the character designs. They're a little too simplistic and awkward looking for my taste. Characters like Barry and Helen have this avacado like body while Kiff's parents are basically a square and rectangle with limps. Kiff's eyes also overlap with her mouth when she smiles and it looks rather uncanny. The animation's good, but the character designs just aren't my cup of tea.

Why does it take one squirrel to ruin everything? Because she's so darn STUPID! Kiff is the worst cartoon from Disney's television division in recent memory. It writing is atrocious, the humor is nonexistent, the characters are hatable and the character designs are too simple to be good to look at. Sure the voice acting and animation's pretty good, but it's notveven good enough to give it an extra point, nevermind recommend. Want a good show about a happy-go-lucky character that's actually responsible and does the right thing? Just watch SpongeBob! Like Coconut Fred before it, Kiff is just trying and failing to do what SpongeBob does successfully so you're better off watching that show instead of this stupid cartoon -.-

Kiff the bucket.
seansohr29 April 2023
Disney's recent lineup of cartoons has been substantially better than in years past. There was a time several years ago where basically EVERY new cartoon on Disney Channel was awful (Fish Hooks, Pickle and Peanut, Billy Dilly, Future-Worm, DuckTales 2017) with only a small handful of watchable ones (Star vs. The Forces of Evil, Wander Over Yonder).

However, recently, things unexpectedly changed for the better. Within the last two years alone, we've gotten the amazing Ghost & Molly McGee, the creative and endearing Chibiverse, the fun and action-packed Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur.

And while I don't like The Owl House or Amphibia as much as most do, I admit I was too harsh on them in the beginning (my old Amphibia review on here is more than proof of that).

However, there is now a black sheep on Disney's line-up: Kiff.

I thought we were well past the era of the Sanjay & Craig/Breadwinners/Pickle & Peanut school of "random/grossout/weird slang = funny." But sadly, Kiff has proven me wrong. So very, very wrong.

What is Kiff about? That's not a rhetorical question... that is an ACTUAL question. Because from what I can tell, Kiff doesn't really HAVE a plot. Much in the spirit of those terrible 2010's cartoons like Sanjay & Craig or Breadwinners, Kiff doesn't so much have a premise as it is just a bunch of random shenanigans starring the obnoxious titular squirrel and her bunny friend. Not much of a premise to speak of, really. Just a series of shenanigans and sounds. Obnoxious shenanigans and sounds.

And then there's the humor. The dreadful, unbearable "stupid/gross is funny" formula that dominated cartoons for most of the 2010's. Almost every episode I watched, I had a massive headache by the end of it from rolling my eyes so much.

The characters? Either annoying or lacking in character. Kiff is just plain irritating, and would feel right at home as a third wheel to Sanjay & Craig or SwaySway & Buhdeuce. Given how few episodes are available right now, most of the tolerable characters aren't very fleshed out, at least not yet. I will say the witch character is somewhat interesting, and besides Barry, has to be the only character that I can say I occasionally like.

The episode plots? DUUUUUMB. Dumb, dumb, dumbitty dumbitty dumb dumb dumb. I couldn't tell you what some of these episodes are even about because they're so nonsensical and aimless, such as The Fourth Bath or Kiff's on a Plane. Only a few episodes have really cohesive stories, and even fewer that are interesting or fun (the ones that come closest for me thus far are Pool Party, Kiff's Mix, and Club Book).

As for the visuals, the backgrounds are somewhat well done though a bit derivative of Adventure Time's backgrounds. And this is very jarring when coupled with the flat, uninspired looking character designs that are almost down to the level of Family Guy or Sanjay & Craig (though in the latter's case, they could get creative sometimes whereas Kiff doesn't really).

I also noticed that much of the background music heard in Kiff is taken from Star vs. And Gravity Falls (it's even noted here on this very site). Would it have killed them to record some more original BGM?

At the end of the day, Kiff, while far from the worst cartoon, is a depressing reminder that the obnoxious style of the aforementioned 2010's cartoons is still very much alive. I can only hope that this is just the team finding their groove since we're only partway through the first season, but I won't get my hopes up.

Kiff sticks out like a sore thumb on Disney's lineup amidst great shows with more heart like Molly McGee and Moon Girl. It feels more like a bad Nickelodeon cartoon like the ones previously mentioned.

One can only hope that Kiff either shapes up as it goes on, or ships out.
