"Thriller," it ain't.
Heidi Montag's debut album "Superficial" sold a whopping 658 copes in its first week, according to the Nielsen Soundscan numbers. (That's not a typo, we're not missing a "0." It's six hundred fifty eight.)
To put that in perspective, here's a list of people who have had higher first-week album sales: Yanni, Weird Al Yankovich, Ashlee Simpson, Color Me Badd, La Toya Jackson, Gerardo ("Rico Suave"), Right Said Fred, Uncle Kracker and Kenny G.
Hmmm.
What were you saying about "Superficial" being able to hold its own against something like "Thriller," you delusional Barbie-monster?
Just in case anyone needs to be reminded of how "talented" Ms. Montag is, let's revisit her performance from the Miss Universe Pageant or listen to single "Superficial."
We never thought someone was capable of putting out cheesier lyrics than Paris Hilton, but we were wrong.
When will our long national nightmare be over?...

Audrina Patridge may not have been impressed with Heidi Montag's performance of "Body Language" at the Miss Universe pageant last month, but Heidi is still gaining quite a fanbase. The latest fan is Miss USA, Kristen Dalton, who placed in the top 10 at the pageant after Montag's show-stealing debut.
"I thought it was pretty good, because she's known as being a reality-tv star, so it's cool that she came out as a performer, as a dancer and singer," Dalton told UsMagazine.com. "I thought she did a great job as a performer."
In the weeks following the performance, Montag's "Hills" co-stars and friends congratulated her for a job well done. "I love 'Body Language.' Blown away. She's never looked better. I thought she did absolutely amazing," Stephanie Pratt...

Heidi Montag is about a month away from the release of her album, and she's mulling over a few potential titles for the record, which hits stores on September 29 — and which fans got a preview of when Heidi performed "Body Language" during the Miss Universe pageant on Sunday.

It's safe to assume CNN's Anderson Cooper is not a big fan of The Hills...or Heidi Montag. Cooper slammed Heidi and her performance at the 2009 Miss Universe Pageant saying, "Don't worry Beyonce, here comes Heidi Montag...with a fresh new way to embarrass herself, take it away Heidi." After a clip of Heidi's performance airs, he jokes, "I don't really know who this person is or why she's pretending to be a singer." His co-anchor noted that Heidi seemed to have forgotten most of the words she was lip syncing. Cooper...
