Clyde and Rani battle for survival in the grounds of Ashenhill Manor, Sarah faces a showdown with Erasmus Darkening.
The horror elements work a lot better than the sci fi elements I would argue, the first half of the episode is definitely better than the second. It's a pretty good second episode, it may not be the most memorable, but it works.
There are definitely some nice touches and ideas here, that scene where Celeste begs Sarah Jane for help on a gramaphone record was great, really sinister. The disappeared people on the staircase look wonderfully creepy also.
Donald Sumpter definitely impresses as Darkening, he's such a quality actor.
Sladen is wonderful as always, Sarah Jane is a little all knowing at times, she knows who, what, where and when.
7/10.
