Taylor applauds James for becoming the man that he is today - in spite of a childhood of abuse by a father who held him responsible for his mother's death. They leave for the Warwick house, so that James can confront his abuser. At first, tensions flare between James and Damon. Taylor mediates between the Warwick men. Suddenly, Damon breaks down admitting that the love of poor deceased Mary Warwick for her infant son was greater than anything else in the world. Ridge and Brooke reminisce about Bridget's birth exactly one year ago. The anniversary also brings up memories for Eric who was so sure that he fathered Brooke's second child. Sheila tries to discount these deliberations and immediately stresses that a paternity test proved otherwise.
