The British Bulldog (Davey Boy Smith)-The Warlord (Terry Szopinski) (w/Slick (Ken Johnson)) match, which Bulldog won by countout, was Slick's last appearance as a heel manager. He left wrestling for a year and returned as the face-turned Reverend Slick, a gimmick he kept until he left in 1993. The finish was Bulldog powerslamming Slick, with Warlord collecting his manager and walking to the back.
"Archive footage" is used as a keyword because all of the featured matches, and Hulk Hogan's appearance on Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake (Ed Leslie)'s "The Barber Shop", were taken from other WWF shows. "Also archive footage" is listed as an attribute on the cast list because those wrestlers were also interviewed in the studio.
This was the final episode of "WWF Prime Time Wrestling" in its original format. The show was changed to the panel format the following week.
