'Tomboys', directed by Nathan Hill, has been picked up for distribution by Mvd Entertainment in America. The film is now available on all formats, including DVD, Blu-Ray and digital download. The grindhouse Aussie flick has journeyed a long way from a small country town in Victoria, Australia where it was made. First being picked by Shock Entertainment in it's home country, then followed up by Navarre on Blu-ray in the USA and Canada and finally finding a home with Mvd for worldwide distribution. Mr Hill says he loves making these kinds of movies in his hometown of Australia because it is a financially viable way to do it. However he does rely on the American market to sell his films otherwise there would be no incentive to make them. Hill says these types of horror genre flicks do not get enough support in his own country....
