Alcohol turns you into a slut or a witch!

Jane (Fivel Stewart) likes horses more than people seeks to avenge her father's murder assisted by Milly (Kara Hayward) the strait-laced, preacher's daughter. A touching, humorous story of a blossoming friendship and a change of priorities.

Fine performances from both ladies, a fitting final instalment to season one.

Poorly written and terrible dialogue

A two dimensional revenge story set in the wild west with terrible dialogue. I can only assume that using modern words and phrases was somehow meant to make the characters identifiable to the audience.

It really was children's level.

Best of the series

And, ironically, the least weird / supernatural; it's "just" a traditional Western revenge tale, but what it's really about is loneliness and friendship. Sweeping vistas and fantastic performances by Fivel Stewart and especially the thoroughly winning Kara Hayward; I'd watch more adventures with these two. This episode comes closer than any other in the series to completely hitting the mark. 8/10.
