This show is phenomenal. In a time of resurgence of the "bury your gays" trope, this show tells queer stories with delicacy and care that is hard to find these days. This show is immersive, comedic, patient, and lovable. The writers do a phenomenal job of bringing accurate diversity to this story, and highlights Maxine "Max" Chapman's journey with baseball and struggles as a black woman in WWII America just as much as they show the Peaches' journey. Even when tackling heavy and dark topics, they make it easy to digest for people who are not as informed on queer treatment in history. As a queer woman, this show reminds me queer stories are just as important, perhaps even more so, as cishet stories. This show showcases the history of the AAGPBL that people were too afraid to talk about. And they do it flawlessly. I will be recommending this show to everyone who is living and breathing. Kudos to Abbi Jacobson and everyone involved with this fantastic revival of A League of Their Own. It is truly a home run.

Just finished this series and in all honesty I'm gutted that it's over I absolutely loved this show and everything it stands for I haven't seen the movie so I couldn't make comparisons but I feel if your going to make a NEW series why would you copy what has already been done.

I loved all of the characters but my favourite's and who I thought stole the show was Greta and clance I thought every part they were in lit up the screen who ever did the casting did really well in paring up the character's the chemistry is palpable between Max and Clance, Greta and joe and Greta and Carson even the extended characters all have great chemistry too.

I'm really hoping for a second season as I feel they could go into more depth with each character as they all have their own back story to tell it's nice to watch a show that's inclusive that's telling stories that needs to told and isn't just glossing over it there is actually depth to it.

A lot of the negative reviews I've read is mainly about the series not being like the original but I really think it's was the writer's intentions not to be they wanted to tell a new story one that probably wouldn't have been accepted 30years ago when the film was made I would say to everyone watch and make up your own mind up it won't be for everybody and that's ok we all like different things but me personally I gave it 10/10 and I will definitely be watching it again.

This is my 2nd binge watch and I'll keep on supporting this show.

I'm proud to be a Friend of Dorothy and I'm ready to rob the bank and it's all because to the inspiring stories this series is telling.

Please, let us have more seasons.

My goodness this was an excellent series with these last two episodes being jam-packed with action and emotion all while setting up the next act (c'mon season 2!) with a delicate perfection that you don't even notice until that final moment hits and you realize you still need so much from these characters and their lives.

I hope we'll see all these folks again next season and have the chance to see Max grow into her independence and identity and Carson grasp her identity firmly and revel in her freedom. I'd love to see Shirley, Annabelle, Jess and Lupe get into some shenanigans together, and of course, spend more time with Uncle Bert & his world. There's so much left to explore!
