This season is half way through now and from an inauspicious beginning it has descended to utter garbage. Weak story, poor dialogue and terrible acting - a recipe for failure.

Warning: Spoilers
Judith and Jeremy celebrate their 35th wedding anniversary party but it turns into murder.
It was an 80s themed part, which raised a few chuckles and I don't mean Paul Chuckle.
Judith's sister Mary who was invited to the party is found dead. Also a valuable piece of jewellery was stolen from her.
Jeremy's sister in law, Cressida becomes a suspect. There was friction between her and Mary as Jeremy's brother Harry once had a fling with Mary.
Jean is asked by the local police inspector to assist. Her knowledge of antiques is invaluable to him.
It was good that Jean is for her help by the police. It gets rid of lot of friction. Although I have little confidence in the French police in that part of the country. Did they not check the passport photos?
