This show is tamer than I thought it would be.
I had thought I understood the premise - a real world girl finds the Supernatural. I kind of assumed that would lead to a mixture of real world grit with a supernatural twist, even if it was aimed at teens. Superman & Lois mixes this well.
But it seems to be another CW superhero show, and it doesn't have much to say.
This episode was meant to be team building, but that didn't mean it had to be boring. It could have been an episode to define characters. But just quasi-drama with little stakes.
It is inoffensive enough, but not much more.
