"Morgen früh, wenn Gott will" is a 5.5-minute short film from 5 years ago. The writer and director is Maria-Anna Rimpfl and she actually scored some awards recognition with this one. However, I am not impressed I must say. It was a decent watch early on and I was wondering why he took a seat there and who is this man. First I thought he may be a contract killer, then I thought, maybe he is the baby's biological father, but I did not like the final explanation. It really does not make sense. Somebody who's been in a car crash would ask for help first thing and certainly not start singing lullabies unless he has a brain injury or something maybe and is totally confused. However, his movements seemed coordinated and there is no evidence of such. I came across this one thanks to Valeria Eisenbart who is a pretty promising actress in Germany right now and I see some of the other people in here are still acting 5 years after this was made. Good for them. Okay little film, but the ending forces me to take 2 stars away. Not recommended.
