They made a movie with a half baked script and end result is a utter flop movie. Honestly, this is a watchable movie, but it ends abruptly without a memorable climax, so a big disappointment. Seems the writer has no idea how to end it, so introduced a twist to introduce some character from thin air and made a small preach (as usual in sathyan anthikad movies, but in an unconvincing boring way) and ended 'blah'.

Unexpected from Sathyan Anthikaad
deepakjraj3 September 2022
Satyan Anthikad tried to serve old wine in new bottles, but still failed. The creators couldn't bring a feel of watching a full length feel good or entertaining movie. The viewers feel like a 2 hr compilation of multiple discontinuous scenes and there is no good connection from scene to scene.
The movie announcement could bring some expectations to the audience with Sathyan Anthikaad and Jayaram reuniting after Katha Thudarunnu. But overall the movie is a disappointment for those who had thoroughly enjoyed the Anthikaad movies in 90s and 2000s
It lacks a good screenplay, cinematography, editing, music and BGM. The sync sound was so pathetic.
The only positive was Naslen.

Unnecessary character introduction in the end

This was a movie that had the potential to be a 8.5 - 9. The storyline was going great until the unnecessary twist in the end that did not do the movie any favors. It felt like the writer could not come up with a good climax and made something up randomly. Until the unnecessary character introduction, the movie was an 8.5 to me but then dropped to a 6.5 - 7.
Waste of time movie

Feeling generous

The first 2 hours were pretty good. Funniest Sathyan Anthikkad movie in ages. Then as other reviews mention they introduce a Kannada character and poop hits the fan.
To enjoy this movie, just skip to the last scene of the movie with Meera Jasmine when you see the Kannada character. Thank me later.
I am not sure what the editor and Sathyan Anthikkad were thinking. Maybe the producer was insecure and wanted a fight scene. My very generous 9 is assuming viewers apply my editing hack.
I think I have said whatever needed to be said, but apparently the review needs to be 600 characters long because some dumb product manager at IMDb decided so.

Don't be tempted to skip this movie!

This movie was so down-to-earth, full of comedy, and had plenty of messages to spread. We were in love with it
DELICIOUS
-The humor was so unexpected! It was natural and no-nonsense; the dialogues were already comic that the actors didn't have much to do than just deliver them. There was a combination of dry humor, sarcasm, and deception.
-Naslen K Gafoor rocks! The switch to Hindi and over-politeness were too hilarious😜
Althaf Salim was extravagantly funny, and the craziest part was that he always kept a serious face
-Makal's mission was accomplished: Fluent directing, Pure Comedy, Organic Acting, Relevant topic, Engaging Cinematography, Sizzling Climax, Intriguing Storytelling, Good Message for parents and youth
-The film gave concrete illustrations of the interaction between parents and teenagers, and taught valuable lessons. As a parent, you'll learn to gently enter your children's world to get to know and relate to them, and vice-versa for children
BLAND
-Unless we missed it, but we didn't quite get how Nandan went from being a mechanic to selling spices.
Why was there even the need for him to be a mechanic in the script? It was a little too sudden the way he built his business.
