The Joker : Quick, the cure! What are you waiting for? Come on! I killed your girlfriend, poisoned Gotham, and hell, it's not even breakfast. But so what? We all know you'll save me.
Batman : Every decision you've ever made ends in death and misery. People die. I stop you. You'll just break out and do it again.
The Joker : Think of it as a running gag...
[the Joker leaps out and stabs Batman in the shoulder, causing him to drop the vial containing the cure, shattering it]
The Joker : Nooooo!
[Batman pulls out the knife while the Joker drops to the floor and begins desperately trying to grab some of the cure]
The Joker : Are you happy now?
Batman : You want to know something funny? Even after everything you've done... I would have saved you.
The Joker : [laughs, coughs] That actually is... pretty funny...
The Joker : [starts laughing and coughing, then gasping for air and finally dies, smiling]

[Batman is tied up to a chair atop Joker's mill; Harley is up close to him, trying to take a peek under his mask]
The Joker : Get *back* here, Harley.
[Joker coughs]
Harley Quinn : Aw, but I wanna know who he is, sweetie!
The Joker : No one's who you think they are, my dear. Why spoil the fun?
Batman : It was all a lie. There's nothing wrong with you.
The Joker : Nice of you to say, but you of all people should know... there's plenty wrong with me!
[He comes out of the shadows with a big smile. His face is covered with boils and his right eye is filled with blood]
The Joker : [holds up bottle of blood] Take my blood, for example. I wish somebody would. This stuff is killing me!
Batman : Why should I care?
The Joker : Because, now... you have a teeny little bit of me in you too, Bats!
[Batman dramatically looks to his left and sees he's hooked up to a machine that injects the Joker's blood into him]
The Joker : Oh, c'mon. Don't tell me it's not what you always wanted. Look, we're running out of time, I need your help. I nearly had a cure; it was so close and then it was taken from me.
Batman : So we both die. I'm fine with that.
The Joker : Are you? Imagine... sucking down that last breath, knowing Gotham is doing the same.
Batman : What are you talking about?
The Joker : Oh, didn't I say?
[hops onto Batman's lap]
The Joker : I've spent weeks shipping samples of my blood to emergency rooms all over the city.
Batman : So that's Protocol 10: poison Gotham. I expected more
The Joker : Protocol 10?
[dramatic gasp]
The Joker : Never heard of it.
[leans into Batman's ear]
The Joker : Hold tight.
[Batman, still strapped into the wheelchair, bursts out of one of the mill's top windows]
The Joker : I'll be in touch!

The Joker : Well, look who it is. I haven't seen you for, how long as it been? Let's see, there was an asylum, some monsters, and oh, that's right, you left me to die. Now you probably don't remember it that way, but who cares? You just need to worry about the bombs

Catwoman : [after Batman helps Catwoman defeat Two-Face] Anyone ever tell you that you're full of surprises?
Batman : I figured you could use my help, Selina.
Catwoman : You're right, I think I chipped a nail back there.
Batman : Funny.
Catwoman : So what do you need, Mr. Detective?
Batman : Protocol 10. What do you know, Selena?
Catwoman : Never heard of it.
Batman : That's not what I wanted to hear. What about Strange?
Catwoman : I don't trust him. He's been missing for years, and then is suddenly put in charge of running Arkham City. Rumor has it he's been working with Joker, planning something special just for you. Maybe *that's* Protocol 10?
The Joker : [Off-Screen, looking through a scope] Twinkle, twinkle, little Bat. Watch me kill your favorite Cat.
[laughs and coughs]
Catwoman : The *Ex* District Attorney here said something about...
[Batman then sees a green laser on Catwoman knowing that it's The Joker wanting to kill her, but Batman grabs Catwoman and shoves her out of the way of the bullet before the bullet struck Catwoman]
Catwoman : What the hell?
The Joker : [Off-Screen, looking through a scope] See you soon, Bats.
[laughs and coughs]
Catwoman : This place is dangerous, I like it. You expecting a kiss?
Batman : It was Joker. You're not safe here. No one is.
Catwoman : Nine lives, remember?
[Uses her whip to escape from the courtroom]

[looks at Strange's guards]
The Joker : YOOHOO! Anybody home?... No sense of humor...

The Joker : We're coming to the end, aren't we? When you see what I've been planning all along, you'll just die!
[laughs]

[inside the Steel Mill, Joker appears on a monitor - looking healthier than the last time Batman saw him]
The Joker : Good evening, troops! This is General J with a quick update on what's going down here in Arkham City. As you can see, I'm looking much better. In fact... Ohhhh. I think I'm looking better than ever. Ha! Oh, I can hear you all now: "How did this happen?" "Can I get me some of that crazy cure?" "I want answers, damn it! Now!" Well, here's the thing. Answers don't give you everlasting satisfaction. Sometimes you need to brace yourself for disappointment. Think about it. Imagine your favorite TV show. You've been through it all. The ups, the downs, the crazy coincidences, and then: Bang! They tell you what it's all about. Would you be happy? Does it make sense? How come it all ended in a church? You guys just need to know one simple thing. I'm back. Back for good! Now arm yourselves, boys. We've got a prison break to plan. No hostages. No surrender. Oh, I know. It sounds like suicide, but listen. Whatever happens. I'll be right behind you.
