Great idea but awful execution.

A young couple rent a remote cabin in the woods and are stalked by three masked men. It is revealed that they are after the girl, who is an up and coming social media influencer of some sorts, but the reason why is never explained. The movie plays out at a lazy, unsuspensful pace as the masked men try to get in to the cabin while the emotionless and bored looking couple try to come up with a plan to outsmart them. In fact most of the movie consists of scenes showing the stalkers peeking through different windows of the cabin while the couple tries to act (to put it loosely) scared.

The couple show no emotions throughout the ordeal, with a flat uninspiring dialogue from start to finish as if they're first time actors in a high school play. In fact their emotions are as fake as the highly rated reviews posted here.

One of the masked men reveals his face, surprising the boyfriend, but its unknown why and movie doesn't explain if he knows them or is somehow connected to them.

During a fight scene, the boyfriend stabs one of the stalkers laying on the ground in the face while his 2 stalker buddies are unbelievably standing by a foot away, emotionless and watching and not trying to stop him.

Movie is full of predictable scenes and cliches, bad acting, and very little suspense. Watch it if you want to be bored.

I have to stop myself from laughing while trying to write this review. I was really disappointed with this movie. The acting was just horrendous. The script was awful. Just so many bad things in this movie. They're in a cabin with 3 masked men surrounding it and they keep the blinds open, curtains open, lights on. The power finally goes out but they go looking for a light and find a lantern. Why would you want to be lit up in a dark house while you're trying to hide? Then "Joe" the property manager shows up, gets out of his truck, it's night time, and puts in these headphones with music blaring while he goes to check out something on the property. The headphones look like the ones you wear at a Nascar race to block out the noise😆. Then when "Sunny" finally gets a chance to run to the car which is exactly 50 yards, according to her boyfriend, she gets there, drops the keys, (of course) one of the men approaches her and she knocks them down. Then she runs back towards the cabin! Why wouldn't you get in the car? She was at the door! After she gets back to the cabin, nothing thrilling happens. The 3 men get in, Sunny runs again and instead of running back to the car, she runs into the woods stopping to catch her breath. Catch her breath from what? 😂 She runs as if she's jogging through the park on a sunny day checking out the scenery. 😂😂 They're not able to get service on their cell phones the entire movie, but when she's in the woods she's able to go live on social media? Then her wussy boyfriend actually stabs one of the men in the eye with a fireplace poker after doing absolutely nothing the entire movie. The ending was bad. What happened to the masked men? How did she get out? The music was ear wrenching. I wrote this while watching the last 30 mins of the movie lol. Save yourself some time! Don't watch this! The good reviews are obviously cast and crew and friends. There's not one person who can actually think this was a good movie. The two main characters must have been friends or more with other cast members because they clearly can not act. It was hard to watch the bad acting. I felt embarrassed for them. The best thing about the movie was the front cover.

The movie had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. The one thing that got me was the fact that dude was standing on the porch yelling at the villains and they just stood there and didn't try and kill him. That would have brought it all together for me because I like violence. I really like how you guys built up the suspense when girl got stabbed and I thought she was going to die and at a last moment miracle she survived. I would and did recommend this movie to my friends I bought it AGAIN and we had a movie night and they also really liked the movie they gave it a 9/10. More gore would suffice but other than that the movie was amazing. Easy to follow along with. I really loved the jump scares, the trash can really got me lol.

They're is a lot that I like, but a lot I had problems with. The things that I like are our killers especially the main one. I enjoyed the gasoline threat with the torches, that was super awesome. My main problems would be that the plot was super weak was like she goes to get away from social media but still is like yes social media. So like I as much as I love the gasoline threat. Them pouring the gas out took wayyy too long, I literally had to be like ok I get it they're pouring gas. While the male partner was a fool and I did not like him. He redeemed himself by not betraying his partner so that was good. The very end stalking scene could of been good, but with how the movie went kinda just felt forced. Also the lighting made it reallyyy hard for me to get into the scenes.
