Did you know
- TriviaMultiple scenes shot in the industrial areas were of The Los Angeles Soap Company, makers of 'The White King' label of products built in the early 1900s. The sight was on its last legs in the late 1980s to early 1990s, with demolition finalizing by 1992. Downtown Los Angeles used to have an extensive network of industrial sidings (including lots of street trackage) radiating off of Alameda Street as well as parallel Santa Fe lines a few blocks to the east. This specific sight was Santa Fe trackage on Banning St., looking into the industrial entrance to the big White King Soap factory. Today this stretch of Banning St. and all of the buildings as well as tracks is completely gone between Vignes and Alameda.
