As if there wasn't enough bad blood between the New York Giants and the New England Patriots already, Brandon Jacobs just threw some more gasoline on the fire. And the Giants running back did it at the expense of Gisele Bundchen, wife of Patriots' Qb Tom Brady.
Following Super Bowl Xlvi, Bundchen ripped Brady's teammates for too many dropped passes in the loss. She says, "My husband cannot f****** throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time...I can't believe they dropped the ball so many times."
Well, this comment didn't sit well with Jacobs, this despite the fact that his team won the game 21-17.
When asked his thoughts on Bundchen's statement, Jacobs tells Yahoo!, "She just needs to continue to be cute and shut up."
Jacobs' teammate Osi Umenyiora had a little bit of a different take and was a bit more understanding.

New York — Losing isn't pretty, just ask Gisele Bundchen. After her husband, Tom Brady, and his New England Patriots lost the Super Bowl to the New York Giants on Sunday night, the supermodel had a few choice words for the quarterback's teammates — and it was all captured on camera.
"My husband cannot f---ing throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time," she said, expressing her feelings about the disappointing loss. "I can't believe they dropped the ball so many times."
Bundchen has since been heavily criticized for the comments. While some fans argue that the supermodel was only defending her husband, others took issue with her placing the blame on Brady's teammates.

As part of the resurrected “I’m going to Disney World!” Super Bowl tradition, Super Bowl Xlvi Mvp Eli Manning spent Monday at Walt Disney World hobnobbing with Mickey, Minnie, and a group of children. We’ve all joked in the past about how much Eli Manning looks like a large child, but these photos basically exaggerate that assertion to the point of not even being a joke anymore, as Manning appears to be the one Super Bowl winner who’d also just be at Disney World anyway. Keep an eye out for the awesome Mickey & Minnie Giants-knockoff jerseys. “Congrats on the big win, Yorktown Largies!!!” (Click Any Pic For Full Size): 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.

Fresh off his victory in Super Bowl Xlvi, NY Giants quarterback and Mvp Eli Manning stopped by "Late Show With David Letterman" (Weeknights, 11:35 p.m. Est on CBS) where the audience greeted him with a standing ovation.
Manning gave such a great insight into a winning quarterback's game plan when he told Letterman about Ahmad Bradshaw's touchdown. At the time, the last thing Manning wanted was to hand the ball to Tom Brady and the Patriots offensive line with enough time on the clock for them to score a touchdown.
"It was only second down, the Patriots defense was told 'Hey, let 'em score.' ... That way, their offense can get the ball back and possibly go down and score a touchdown and win the game."
As he handed the ball off to Bradshaw, Manning could sense the Patriots defense backing off, "so I told him, 'don't score!

Thoughts by Tsr: Super Bowl Xlvi had its share of memorable moments – Blackburn’s interception, Welker’s drop, Bradshaw trying not to score the potential game-winning Td – but nothing that happened during the telecast gave me as big of a thrill as the 360 degree shot of all the Avengers side-by-side. I’ve been going back and forth on just how excited I am for The Avengers, but with images like that it’s hard not to be eager to see how it will turn out.
I’m still not entirely sure how Black Widow and Hawkeye fit in with the group – other than to further raise the Hottest Team of Superheroes in the History of the Nine Worlds quotient – but most...

A record 111.3 million viewers tuned in to catch Eli Manning and the New York Giants defeat Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. Were you one of them? Last night's (Feb. 5) airing of Super Bowl Xlvi beat out last year's telecast to earn the title of most-watched television program in U.S. history. Super Bowl Xlv previously held the record with 111 million viewers. 300,000 pairs of eyeballs made all the difference! The suits at NBC should be thanking their lucky stars right about now. Not only did the Super Bowl break viewership records, but lead-out The Voice surpassed any and all expectations, garnering an astonishing 37.6 million viewers, the highest viewership for a non-sports program in six years. Gisele Bundchen was upset after the Patriots lost the Super Bowl to the Giants last night and vented to a friend about Tom Brady's teammates. Was she totally out of line? I totally get why Gisele Bundchen was angry last night after Super Bowl Xlvi. Her husband, the quarterback of the Patriots Tom Brady, had a solid game, but his teammates choked and lost to the Giants, 21-17. However, she should have kept her mouth shut about her true feelings until she was away from the cameras. After getting heckled by some Giants fans, Gisele, 31, turned to her girlfriend and said, "My husband cannot f***ing throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. Football star Eli Manning delivered the win for the Giants in Indianapolis against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. The player took the Super Bowl and Mvp trophy by leading his team and delivering the winning touchdown in the final seconds against the Patriots. Super Bowl Xlvi, February 5, 2012 saw Eli's No. 10 jersey for the Giants beat the red and blue wave of Patriots' talent, and the post-game celebrations for Manning and company continued late into the night. As far as the dejected New England Patriots are concerned, there was only one winner at the Super Bowl. And, it wasn't them. But the New York Giants are not the only team that had a banner night. Several of the advertisers and marketing firms behind the night's most popular Super Bowl commercials were likely celebrating by the time that Tom Brady's last-gasp heave to the end zone dropped harmlessly to conclude Super Bowl Xlvi.
As usual, there was a bevy of advertisers hoping that showing skin was the way to win. David Beckham's H&M ad certainly got people tweeting. On the other hand, Ms. Brown -- the latest M&M character -- drew raves, in part, for insisting that she was actually fully dressed.
Nearly as lauded as Eli Manning was Doritos, who had two funny ads vying for the top spot on the USA Today Admeter.

It's deja vu all over again as a New York Giants wide receiver makes an outstanding catch to help win them the Super Bowl. It happened in 2008 with David Tyree. And now, in 2012, it's happened again with Mario Manningham. But which catch was best?
Let's review. With 3:45 left in Super Bowl Xlvi and the Giants down by two, New York needed to make their way out of the shadow of their own end zone. So Eli Manning uncorks a 38-yard pass to Manningham, who makes a nearly impossible catch. The Giants then proceed to drive down the field and score the game-winning touchdown against the New England Patriots.
Of course then there's the fabled "helmet catch" of Tyree in Super Bowl Xlii. The Giants were trailing the Patriots by four with 1:15 left to play. Manning escapes a near sack and throws the ball 32 yards to the outstretched arms of Tyree.
