- Sean is unsettled to see Rex, the father who abandoned him and Emma when they were toddlers and is determined to get his revenge by ripping him off. He devises a plan involving supposed buried treasure from a plane that crashed in 1940 on land Rex is aiming to sell. An expensive bracelet is planted for Rex to find, along with items of wartime memorabilia - but Rex proves to be far less greedy than imagined and prepared to share the treasure with Sean. - Just as they reach the end of their latest scam - one that should pay them £50,000 - Sean inexplicably walks away and enters the elevator with a stranger. It turns out that the man, Rex Kennedy, is Sean and Emma's father who abandoned them when they were only children. Sean is keen on scamming him and insists on leading a swindle that should net them £80,000, the child support payments their father never paid out. Rex is trying to sell a piece of property in London and Sean wants to use the old treasure map con. As he begins to realize that his father is not the ogre he's made him out to be over all of these years, Sean's will begins to falter.
