Having grown up in the 1970's, I developed alot of preconceived notions about drug use and drug users. This film showed me that people who could be my co-workers or neighbors are struggling for their lives in the opioid crisis in the country. This film not only showcases the horrible effects of the drug, but shows the hope of recovery and path to regaining your life. I recommend this powerful film to literally everyone- young and old- as it reveals a painful and tragic truth that is ravaging the county right now. The line that I cannot forget from the film is the woman who says that she did the opioid one time and then didn't stop for 12 years.
