David Jason has admitted that he sometimes watches Only Fools and Horses if he happens to catch a repeat on television.
The actor said that he watches the comedy "more by accident than by design", but is always "proud" to see what the cast produced.
Speaking to reporters including Digital Spy at the National Television Awards, he said: "What happens to me is that sometimes I'm looking through to find a programme to watch and I accidentally come across a Fools.
"And just before I change channels I stop. And I go, 'These guys are not too bad really!' And I sit there and I watch it. It's, like, more by accident than by design, although I must say like most people that it still holds up to the test of time, I'm very, very pleased to say."

Doctor Who has once again been successful at the National Television Awards (NTAs), held at the O2 Arena in London this evening and broadcast live on ITV1 in the UK. This was the 15th running of the ceremony, at which television programmes and personalities are given awards voted on by the British public.
The programme has now won the Drama category at every Nta ceremony since 2005, although the awards were not held in 2009. This year it won the audience vote ahead of BBC One stablemate Casualty, Channel 4's Shameless and ITV1's The Bill. The award, presented by England football captain John Terry, was collected by David Tennant, Bernard Cribbins, June Whitfield and Elisabeth Sladen, with Cribbins delivering the acceptance speech.
