An amusing comedy about a guy who finds out his father is alive and goes on the quest to find him. Looking through other reviews it seems to be a common formula for Turkish movies. But since I don't know many Turkish movies, I just started watching them recently thanks to Netflix, it wasn't predictable to me. So I recommend it to foreigners like me who are looking for a funny movie.
It seems like it was a success since there are two sequels. And this isn't surprising because it is very funny and also has great actors in it. The main guy is played by Ata Demirer who brings us to laugh all the time and Firuzan who helps him finding his dad by Demet Akbag who shows a lot of talent as well.
It is all lighthearted humor without any drama. That keeps it fresh. One of my favorite scenes is when Firuzan is having a photo shoot and Huseyin gets drunk and says what is wrong with it. Another is when he looks for his father and sees the guy in the cheese store who looks like him. These are just two of the fun scenes, the whole movie is full of them.
