Sensitive romance from Stormy and Morgan
lor_7 March 2018
Of all the top-drawer Wicked Pictures directors, Jonathan Morgan seems the laziest, content to deliver, like clockwork, rather timid and often low-grade comedies and dramas. But he did work on many classics as well, and this Stormy Daniels vehicles falls somewhere in between, but definitely in the plus column.

That's because Stormy's acting is sensitive and her co-star Marcus London also rises to the occasion (no puns please) in a flashback drama about a couple that has broken up.

Setting is a cafe, with several extras quite prominent in the frame, but uncredited as usual. Duo is meeting there with Stormy giving Marcus a box of stuff he left behind when they split up, and they discuss wistfully "what went wrong" with their relationship.

We see them back in college (surprisingly believable even though the actors are in their 30s and 40s, and hear about friends and acquaintances and their sex life. In the supporting cast Tori Black is outstanding sexually though her fake German accent needs work, while Alexis Texas and Kagney Linn Carter provide more blonde bombshell action for fans who aren't satiated by even Stormy's good looks.

By film's end, I was mighty glad Jonathan had put a hold on his usual comedy shticks, and give him credit for a fine screenplay.
