From babbling brook to mill stream, to reed-decorated channel for boating, to river emptying into the Adriatic, the Pescara -- technicially, the Aterno-Pescara -- winds through Abruzzi and Pescara in eastern Italy. This short subject offers a fond view from its springs to the boat-choked harbor.
It's a handsomely offered documentary, and seems to hold the same view of the river that the River Thames above London has as a reputation. With a decent score, it still plays very well.
