I wasn't impressed with this documentary. A father and daughter buy a baby elephant, separate it from its herd, they bring it to their home to train...chain it up. While you watch this, you think... poor baby elephant, it's sad and lonely & misses its herd. What an incredibly selfish act to buy an innocent baby elephant so that a young woman can train it. Finally, near the end, the girl realizes that the baby elephant would be better off surrounded by other elephants, roaming free in the wild thanks to her Uncle pointing out that they had illegally purchased an elephant. Stupid documentary, profiting off of a bad deed only for the girl to eventually come to turns with the fact that she couldn't legally keep the elephant. Humans are so cruel and inhuman.
