Everything Changes

It's about time Brennan was unfocused, unsure and conflicted! Maybe next season will show a more 'human' Brennan. While the character shouldn't make extreme changes, the persistent complete lack of understanding living human interaction is irritating.

There is enough uncertainty to wonder if some of the characters will be returning next season. Hodgins, Angela, Dr. Saroyan, Sweets, and Miss Julian need to return for next season...Daisy, maybe. But, only the 6th season will tell.

Overall, a lovely ending to the season. AND, TJ Thyne has wicked gorgeous eyes!!

Same Time Next Year

I can't explain it, but I found this episode wanting. First of all, the thought of being around Daisy for more than five minutes would cause huge deposits of acid reflux. She is one of the most unlikeable characters I've ever encountered in film. The two opportunities for the stars are so contrived. I suppose the year away might make for some reasonable changes. Maybe the show needs these changes. Brennan does have a moment when talking to Angela about what she may discover about herself--that she can't continue to grow in this setting. It will be interesting to see what Season Six has for us with the usual suspects. I assume, also, that all the interns are on their way out, unless, of course, they are hired.

The snake in the hoard

Do people from the army really show up to stand silently and watch ex-soldiers from afar who they want to re-recruit? Because I've seen this trope in multiple shows and it seems inefficient.

Are Bones's earrings in this episode little tiny urns carrying the cremated remains of her pet beta fish? We'll never know.

The victim in this case was killed by a box fan, which is totally fine, definitely not a confirmation of what I thought was an irrational fear that's gonna haunt me forever, nope, totally fine over here.

I know Billy Gibbons is cool or whatever, but he would be the most annoying dad character on this show if it weren't for Max Keenan, and I could do without that entire plot line if it weren't for Sweets's magnificent meows.

Hi bones booth. I'm bullet pointing so I don't run out of room love this episode Angela's dad, yay Ms Julian sad about booth :( Who woulda thunk daisey & dr b lol Everyone leaving - what's going to happen!!!

The case again is like the c plot

Goodbye scene: I WANTED THEM TO KISS SO BAD! (Maggie is there a fanfic for this one???) You can tell booth is so sad. He pulls his hand away like he's trying to protect himself and his feelings.

Love how ms Julian calls out that they are running away fr/ each other. I actually think this was a good way to deal with the tension of back and forth w/ b & b.
