Hank starts his therapy sessions, but the pain is immense. He gives up after very few seconds and says that he cannot endure the pain.
Skyler gets the first of Hank's hospital bills and decides the time has come to get more involved in Walt's business affairs. Marie says that the bills are going to start hitting them weekly from now on. Walt attempts to pay with his drug money, but Skyler insists the source must be "unimpeachable." She is particularly concerned that the money be laundered correctly and that it absolutely cannot be traced back to Walt's illegal activities as it could land Marie in Jail.
Walt introduces her to Saul, his lawyer. Saul explains that they will show that Walter won some money by gambling and make it legitimate. Then Saul will use to the gambling wins to invest in a business with a steady source of income. Skyler thinks the investment Saul has lined up (laser tag shop) is ludicrous and has a better idea and suggests that Walter should buy a car wash as he used to work at one many years ago.
Saul objects, as the owner of the laser tag facility would ask no questions about the deal, while the car wash owner, Bogdan (Marius Stan), is an unknown factor. Skyler offers to help launder the money by managing the car wash. Walt worries that this would make her liable for his actions, but she reveals she never signed the divorce papers, and if married, cannot be made to testify against him. Skyler decides to run the car wash herself.
Jesse takes Skinny and Badger to his NA meetings to scout for new customers to whom they can peddle the Meth stolen from Gus's lab.
Jesse, meanwhile, is still trying to peddle the Meth he has been skimming at the lab and, fed up with Badger and Skinny Pete's low sales, decides to show them how it is done by connecting with Andrea (Emily Rios), a new member at their NA meeting. He tries to seduce Andrea to buy Meth, but then finds out that she has a son. Jesse backs off & falls in love with her by sleeping with her instead. Andrea little son Brock is 6 years old, and she has a little brother Tomas (Angelo Martinez) who is 11 years old. Andrea wants to avoid having Brock suffer from the same fate as Tomas, who, as part of an initiation to a local drug gang, shot a rival dealer at a street corner. Jesse realizes that Tomas is the little guy who was used by the cross-town rivals to kill Combo.
Gus invites Walt to his home for a private dinner, telling Walt that he made many mistakes when he first began working in the drug business. He regrets that he did not have a mentor and warns Walt never to make the same mistake twice. Although Walt does not appear to understand what Gus is referring to, it later becomes apparent he is speaking of Walt's relationship with Jesse.
The next day, Jesse travels to the corner where Combo was killed. He finds Tomás there and confirms that not only is he working for a drug gang, but the gang works for Gus peddling the blue Meth that he and Walt are making. Jesse quietly walks away, enraged.
At the hospital, Marie is thrilled at the prospect of Hank's returning home, but he does not seem as pleased as he has been struggling with physiotherapy and his self-esteem is really low.
