Dekh Indian Circus (Watch Indian Circus) directed by Mangesh Hadawale will have its Us premiere at the 23rd Palm Springs International Film Festival in California.
The festival will commence on January 5, 2012 with Salmon Fishing in the Yemen and close on January 15, 2012 with Almanya, Welcome to Germany. 187 films from 73 countries will be shown at the festival.
Two other Indian co-productions that will screen at the festival are Arranged Happiness (Germany/India) Daniela Creutz and Lucky (South Africa/India) by Avie Luthra.

The Way Home won the Best Film while its director Dr. Biju Kumar was adjudged the Best Director at the 10th Imagineindia film festival. The festival ran from May 17-31, 2011 in Madrid, Spain .
The plot of The Way Home revolves around a doctor who is assigned the case of a woman who is the member of a terrorist group. “As a pan-Indian film, The Way Home captures India’s diverse topography and natural wonder with some exhilarating photography. This is the first Indian film which covers 5 states as the locations,” states the official website of the festival about the film.
The second prize in the Best Film category went to I am Sindhutai Sapkal by Ananth Mahadevan. Arranged Happiness by Daniela Creutz won the Third Prize.
Vijanath Biradar won the Best Actor for Riding the Stallion of dreams directed by Girish Kasaravalli and Tejaswini Pandit won the Best Actress for I am Sindhutai Sapkal.

The 10th Imagineindia International Film Festival announced its India programme. The 2011 edition of the festival will take place in Madrid from May 17-31.
The films that will compete in this year’s festival are : Girish Kasaravalli’s Riding the Stallion of Dreams, Rakesh Mehta’s Khuda Kushi, Dr. Biju Kumar’s The Way Home, Bela Negi’s Dayeen ya Baeen, Italo Spinelli’s Gangor, Kim Longinotto’s Pink Saris, Ananth Mahadevan’s I am Sindhutai Sapkal, and Daniela Creutz’s Arranged Happiness.
Raj Kapoor’s Barsaat, Guru Dutt’s Pyaasa, Abrar Albi’s Sahib Bibi aur Gulam, Satyajit Ray’s Mahanagar and Ritwick Ghatak’s Nagarik will be presented in the Classics section of the festival.
The documentaries that will be screened in the festival are: Alfredo de Braganza’s Smoking Babas, which portrays the world of the Sadhus, David Varela’s Banaras Me, a year-long effort to capture the enigmatic atmosphere of Varanasi,...
