Luke and Manny are members of the Little Dribblers. The coach is a rude guy who does not mix words; he treats the boys badly, calling them stupid and making them feel inadequate at the court. Jay and Phil, who attend the games, have had it. They feel the coach must go. As Jay and PHil approach the man, he informs them if they want the job, they can have it. Manny, feels bad having Gloria come to the game; her words of encouragement prove to be embarrassing.
Gloria and Claire meet at the mall. Claire has brought Alex with her, but the girl has no desire to stay with her mom. Instead, she wants to join a group of girls from school. Gloria has brought Lily, whom she is babysitting for Cam and Mitch. Both women compete in buying the toddler outfits and shoes. As Claire is about to leave, Alex comes by to ask permission to stay with her friends and get some money. Claire gives double of what Alex had asked, advising her to buy a trainer bra, as she is going to need it.
Cam has taken a job at a card store to help Mitch, who is temporarily out of a job. Jay tells him about a man that has built a successful enterprise. When Mitch calls the man, he is invited to go to a party at the entrepreneur's beach home. It is an informal interview, which goes all wrong as Cam keeps doing things that distract Mitch, as well as the man. Begging to let them discuss the job proposal, Mitch and Cam go into the garage. They get locked in. In their despair to get out, they keep on pressing buttons of a turntable device that ends up damaging their host's expensive car.
