Between the years of 1978 and his death in 2012 Wolfgang Frey dedicated his free time to building a highly detailed, 800 square meter n-scale railroad layout of the Stuttgart train station and it's surrounds. After his death it was disassembled and placed in storage for five years before being partially reassembled by a club of model railroad enthusiasts. Here are views of the 200 square meters so far restored.
