ScHoolboy Q has announced his next studio album, Blue Lips.
The Tde rapper confirmed the news with a trailer shared to his website, which also currently boasts a clock counting down to the record’s “intended release date” of March 1st. The 37-second clip takes place in what appears to be a film studio, with what we’ve been led to believe is the album’s tracklist (a whole 17 songs!) projected on the wall.
At the end of the trailer is a dictionary definition for “blue lips,” which reads: “Speechless, especially as the temporary result of shock or some strong emotions.” Ironically, the trailer doesn’t feature any vocals, but there is a mellow, jazzy instrumental that could sound nice with some Q bars.
Watch the trailer below, and then keep scrolling to read our best interpretation of ScHoolboy Q’s Blue Lips tracklist.

Love Birds, a development project directed by Angel Morris and Elliott Kennerson, has been selected as the grant recipient of the Original Voices Fellowship from NBCU Academy and NBC News Studios.
The filmmakers will receive a $100,000 investment from NBCU Academy and a commission deal from NBC News Studios, having competed against five other finalists. Each of the teams received a $6,000 grant for their documentary projects.
Love Birds is the story of George Hunt and Molly Warner, whose 1972 discovery of homosexuality in seagulls had an impact on scientific research and the LGBTQ+ movement. Morris and Kennerson worked alongside archival producer Katy Garrity on the project.
The Original Voices Fellowship held an open call for short documentaries addressing social issues, with a panel of judges then hearing pitches from the filmmakers. The judges included Sarah Amos of Conde Nast; Keesha Boyd of Comcast; Robert Chang of Pov; Alexandra Garcia of The New York Times Op-Docs; Molly O’Brien,...

"You guys shot the wrong man, didn't you?!" Dark Star Films has debuted a new official US trailer for the New Zealand dark comedy called Lowdown Dirty Criminals, made by filmmaker Paul Murphy (Second Hand Wedding and Love Birds). This already opened in New Zealand & Australia a few months ago, and should make its way to America sooner than later. Two wannabe gangsters find themselves in a hilariously off-kilter predicament when a botched job leaves them the target of the underworld’s finest. It's closest in tone and style to Guy Ritchie's 1998 film Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, with a Kiwi edge. The film's ensemble cast includes James Rolleston, Samuel Austin, Scott Wills, Min Kim, Cohen Holloway, Robbie Magasiva, and Rebecca Gibney as "uber gangster The Upholsterer". A crime caper that tells the tale of two naïve young men searching for a better life... through crime. Ha ha.

KollywoodFrom Vivek teaching us the meaning of “Awas Anjing” in Malaysia to Yogi Babu playing a hacker in London, here are some hilarious scenes set in foreign lands.Anjana ShekarWe’ve seen Vadivelu as ‘Vakkil' Vandumurugan getting exasperated when his opponent cuts him off mid-sentence during a hearing in court: “I am speaking, no cross speaking. Sit down please!” he roars in one breath and we’re barely able to contain our laughter. But what happens when ‘Vaigai puyal’ Vadivelu plays an advocate in London? Well, we’ve seen that too…only you may not recall the “London” part too well. In the 2005 film London (that was surely shot in Chennai), Vadivelu as Advocate Vedimuthu lives and practises law in London. But, many of our stars have indeed flown to other countries to give us some memorable comedy. One of the earliest references is actor Nagesh playing a bearer at...

Happy World Penguin Day!
As usual, all the penguins on this Earth have shown up in their black-tie best to celebrate the occasion. Along with giving a hat tip to this majestic (and sometimes silly) bird, this day was created to raise awareness about the number of penguin species that are threatened by things like habitat destruction, overfishing and pollution.
To protect these animals from further harm and help repair their current population numbers, it’s important to support conservation causes and be informed about all the types of penguins that are waddling across our world and the fascinating things they do.

Short extract from the film will be shown at Jerusalem Film Festival’s Pitch Point.
Tel Aviv-based Transfax is set to unveil extracts today from Guilhad Emilio Schenker’s Madame Yankelova’s Fine Literature Club, about a women’s reading club with a secret feminist and cannibalistic agenda.

Made in Dagenham, the story of the Ford women's strike, is being rated by Us critics as the next Full Monty
Nervous, petite and a bit shy, Sally Hawkins is about to become one of Britain's most successful exports – and to give the town of Dagenham an unexpected moment of international glory.
The 34-year-old actress from south London has played starring roles in six films due for release this year and next, and the first to hit cinemas will tell the story of the 1968 strike at the Ford car works.
Made in Dagenham also stars Miranda Richardson, Jaime Winstone, Andrea Riseborough and Rosamund Pike, with Bob Hoskins and Kenneth Cranham playing the male leads. The film celebrates the 300 women machine workers at the car plant who walked out when their demand for the same pay grading as the men in the factory was refused. Their action led to the introduction...

· Yet another still from Inception (above) has made its debut. And no, the movie is not any closer to making sense.
· Hey, look, another pair of films were added to the Cannes competition! And they're directed by men! Surprise!
· As pretty much predicted, Avatar's 1.5 million Blu-rays sold shattered the first-day record previously held by The Dark Knight.
· Can Sally Hawkins and Flight of the Conchords' Rhys Darbys save the romcom in Love Birds? One pundit seems to think so.
· Eddie Murphy officially acknowledged the obvious: "I've lost a lot of my cool and edge, I think." Sad. That still doesn't justify Meet Dave.

My memory of great screen romances has been battered by a stream of filmic bad dates with Jennifer Aniston, but a new pairing is already restoring my faith
If it takes a special kind of churl to be appalled at the sight of young people in love, then the studios have made sourpusses of us all. Of course, raging against the romcom is an old trick – but this is, I believe, a war that can't be surrendered, the genre's crimes having gone a long way to ruining the entire notion of romance in modern cinema. And that is a problem, the memory of Bogart & Bacall and Grant & Hepburn now tainted for a new generation by a thousand soul-withering Jennifer Aniston films.
It takes a whole load of dreadful to besmirch a legacy like that – but besmirched it's been by the string of filmic bad dates on which contemporary cinemagoers have ventured out.

Murray… Present! Flight Of The Conchords scene stealer Murray Hewitt – better known as actor Rhys Darby – has been forging a career for himself with small roles in big films such as Yes Man. But he’s headed back to New Zealand for a leading man part in romantic comedy Love Birds.Paul Murphy is directing the tale of a lonely man who cares for a wild bird back to health, using the time spent caring for the creature to get over being dumped by his last girlfriend. But, as the title might suggest, his time with the feathered friend leads him to meet a lady, in the shape of Happy Go Lucky’s Sally Hawkins, playing a kooky vet.Writer Nick Ward, who worked with Murphy on Dean Spanley, has written the script, which, while it sounds a little bit like a cookie-cutter rom-com, is lifted by the idea of two solid performers working together.

Along with films like Yes Man and Pirate Radio, the actor has a lead in the upcoming romantic comedy, Coming And Going. And now Deadline is reporting that the actor will be joining Sally Hawkins (Happy-go-lucky) in the upcoming film, Love Birds, which is currently shooting in New Zealand, and is directed by Paul Murphy. Love Birds follows a vet who helps a man care for his injured bird.
