Warning: Spoilers
Shades of Once Upon A Time in Hollywood.

Toast is stranded in the desert on his way to shoot a western. He chances on Barney who looks like a leader of a Charles Manson type cult.

After signing a contract at gunpoint, he needs to find Rusty Hollywood and deliver to him his goldfish.

Toast needs to return with a rattlesnake but finds that the west is certainly wild.

This is very much a cartoonish episode.

Toast has his arm bitten off by a tiger. It is not that funny but works better in a surreal and dreamlike way.

Warning: Spoilers
I have been a staunch supporter of the show, but this one seemed to go a little bit too far off the rails. They traded a lot of things for laughs, instead almost giving us something close to what an authentic Western in 2022 would seem like.

The tiger attack and the casual nature of easily re-attaching the arm was funny, but the premise was particularly weak tonight.

This show needs to stick to keeping Toast in the world of entertainment and not these random excursions. There would have been a lot of humor in seeing him try to pull off a Western and not wandering through the desert.

Oh well. Even though this wasn't the quality we expect from the show it was still enjoyable.

Funny, insane, surreal, bonkers.

Toast gets a part in a Western, but but en route to his destination he loses his way, and ends up in the middle of nowhere, bumping into a few people be met recently, who give him a very strange mission.

Surreal, this was absolutely bonkers, the first time I saw it, when it went out, I couldn't quite make head nor tail of it, I actually quit the show as a result of it. However, I quite enjoyed it this time round. When Barney and Snorky popped their heads into Brooke's taxi, that made sense now, sort of.

It was good to take notice of the cast list, an amazing lineup, some very well known faces, you have Morgana Robinson, Benedict Wong, Stuart Milligan and of course the wonderful Aidan Turner.

Not a classic, but has some good moments, the snake scene was funny, and in keeping with the madness of the show.

Mad, 7/10.

Weakest episode.

This is probably the least funny of the six episodes. It didn't really go anywhere and definitely didn't go the way it kind of set up it was going to! There were humorous bits but not many!
