In this short film, a theatre director lends his apartment to an actress as a rehearsal space. We watch her rehearse a series of disjointed sequences, then another women enters and appears to end a relationship with her. Is she also rehearsing a role, or is her dialogue genuine? It is never clear. Like many Hal Hartley shorts, this has the sense of being an embryo of an unrealised idea, a rehearsal about rehearsals perhaps...
