Mo learns the exact role his father has played in recent events, the fallout after the shooting begins, Grace proves an invaluable help to the investigation.
It's been a wonderful first series, it gets the ending if deserved here, it's a brilliant final episode, it delivers on every level. It's true that most of the action went down in episode 5, but this handles all of the fallout.
We came in with so many questions, Gerry's life, David and Jen, The McIntyres, it puts every single question to bed. One question that will perhaps be addressed in series two, Grace and Stevie, is that going to become a thing?
Some bog scenes, including the booking in of The McIntyres, Gordy's interview, and of course Tommy breaking the news, every single scene was fluid and delivered to perfection.
What can you say after that, other than roll on Series two, it's been a huge triumph, a reminder of how good a quality BBC drama can be, it focused on the right things.
10/10.
