  Annie Walker : [sweetly]  Congratulations. You must be doing a good job.

  Vincent Rossabi : A man I've never talked to, told me to release you and your friend.

  Annie Walker : Maybe your boss' boss is a Gold Circle client.

  [raises her eyebrows playfully] 

  Vincent Rossabi : Okay. Here's what I think. I think you both work for the Agency.

  [she feigns ignorance] 

  Vincent Rossabi : No, I know, I know. You don't know what I'm talking about, right?

  Annie Walker : I was gonna say you don't know what you're talking about.

  Vincent Rossabi : Okay. You work for the CIA.

  [she laughs] 

  Vincent Rossabi : Yeah. You work for the CIA and you should be sharing information with us anyway. Somehow you got involved with this Russian guy. And instead of working with the Bureau, you decided to go it alone. Only, you got caught. And now, some shadowy superior who goes to the Metropolitan Club with our director, has got to call to get you released.

  Annie Walker : The operative word being "released."

  [sweetly:] 

  Annie Walker : Can I go?

  Vincent Rossabi : [sighs, has to give in]  Yeah, you can go.

  [scowls down at her] 

• Vincent Rossabi : Now tell me, what is a call girl doing in a D.C. morgue?
