this may have changed my life
CertainSomebody23 October 2022
It's been a while since I saw this played at a short film festival where I live, I think about it often. This changed my mind about short films; within the span of 20-or-so minutes it covers a lot of emotions and portrays them better than most hit films I've seen, and I am sure of this because I was able to connect with it which is something that has rarely happened with me and films, easily bringing it up to one of my top favorites.

This film made me reflect it's feelings back on myself, to make me see myself in it's main character and watch him as he goes, not with anticipation, but with care and concern; with genuine feelings that have stuck with me even after a while of watching it. I can only think of one other film that had me feeling this way.

Simon has got a gift with delivering emotions through film, I'm sure he has got a very bright future ahead of him. It's something that resonates in his other films as well, but this is his best work to start with. I totally recommend it.
