Both pilots appear with 9mm pistols, which they never fire. About 15 seconds later the agents are all almost out of bullets (having never reloaded). None of them consider using the two fully loaded 9mm pistols the pilots had.
The Navy SH-60 Seahawk chopper that brings Parker, Palmer, Torres and Knight out to the Stargazer has the proper Navy markings on the side. However when it lands on the ship the overhead view shows a US Air Force insignia on the top of the chopper instead of the Navy insignia.
Why do they not carry extra magazines with them? This is an inane practice. Perhaps they should explain in a future show why they don't see the need to carry extra ammo.
Military aircraft are not secured by lock-and-key but rely on security personnel to guard them, nor do they need keys to start engines. Being in control of the ship, the terrorist arms dealers could have boarded the helicopter and flown off with it at any time.
As former REACT and Special Ops, Knight of all people should appreciate the need for carrying extra magazines for their side arms. Yet none of the agents ever seem to carry extra ammo, which makes no sense as a couple extra magazines are light, easy to carry and take up hardly any room on their belt.
The Stargazer's comm and transponder were down, there was no crew on deck to oversea the helicopter's landing and, once the team left the helicopter, they were great by a fully armed Navy soldier whose rifle had a suppressor ('silencer') fitted. All of these should have made the NCIS team and the pilots suspicious.
